love the fact that you can use review videos on the SD cards. The viewing is 360d from any where. This cam is much better than the two Ring cams we have. We have a problem with it tracking spiders at night so we turned off tracking.

Well worked good for a few weeks then stopped recording. Says there’s no sd card and no longer does motion detection… Note it is under a porch looking out into the yard rarely gets wet unless there’s a storm.

UPDATE: so I’m a stoner and a guy who usually don’t read instructions and didn’t realize there was a antenna at the bottom of the box , screwed it in and it works 100 x better . Sorry for the bad review So I put the camera on my front door in the hopes of catching the people who have been vandalizing my cars and house , the camera is about 30 ft from my modem and still can’t keep a signal . Constantly keeps going offline , making loud noises that my neighbors complained about on the first day of having it . As of right now I can’t access it and it’s really just there for show until I can find a better model . So I would recommend spending a little extra and getting a better brand . I have two other la view cameras in my house that work fine but I guess a front door is cryptonite to it

We use this for our kids room, we love that it has night vision and switches automatically, and that it is 360 and motion detection activated. What i dont love is that it doesnt come with a sim card so it doesnt record automatically.

Wasn't sure about quality with the low price but it is outstanding. I have a chicken coop and eggs were getting pecked at. I needed a way to be able to tell which chicken was doing the damage. I put the camera up, connected to the network, downloaded the ap and BAM! I was up and running. The first thing I noticed was that the camera had amazing picture quality. Very clear, not grainy like some of the other cameras I have had. Second was that the camera detects motion and then swivel to follow it! I knew it moved but I thought I had to tilt the camera from my phone. This was a pleasant surprise. Come to find out a blue jay was coming in the open door and pecking the eggs! The night vision is also very clear and easy to identify each chicken. No grainy, blurred video.....I turned around and bought 1 more the next day for my new chick barn. I would highly recommend this camera to someone looking for a simple setup with good quality video for a decent price.

I am absolutely blow away with the quality of the video, ability to pan and tilt, and digitally zoom. I'm a "snowbird" and have a camera at each of my two houses. I added a 32 gig chip to each camera and it stores 3 - 4 days of continuously recorded video. Cloud video storage is an option I have not used. The night vision is wonderful and the HD color day vision is excellent. The two-way audio is pretty darn good too. The WiFi connection is good too. My Arizona camera is about 70' and 3 walls away from my wireless router and is used to monitor the back yard and swimming pool. 700 miles north, at my summer home, the camera was mounted on the front porch, where it monitors the driveway and city street, but can be swiveled to see if packages are on the porch, or if mail is in the mail box. Both can be used to chat with visitors. Oh, and the app is wonderful too. Installation of the app and connecting the camera for remote viewing is super simple. With it, you can pan, tilt and zoom the camera just by sliding your fingers on your phone's screen. I have since purchased two additional cameras, which will be installed soon. At about $50, this is a must-have security device.

The picture quality it great. I love that you can view it on your phone. It’s pans perfectly. I don’t use it for security. Just to keep eyes on what my dogs are up too.... my puppy can hop the fence!

Easy to install but be prepared for the hassle of having the camera read the QR code. I struggled and had to put it right on the camera to read it. Picture quality is great and it has a sensitivity setting be sure to do that or your camera will move at the slightest movement which is good but the notifications that come with it haha. Definitely would purchase another, my internet is crappy but it still connected to it just fine.

Everything was perfect for a couple weeks and then nothing. It quit working which was a total disappointment because it caused me to miss capturing the evidence I needed. But it was perfect when it worked. UPDATE Instead of returning it I tried another usb plug and it worked again! So the only flaw this has is a cheap plug. If they could improve this one area it would get 5 stars. I also found that it works best when you turn the camera upside down in the settings.

I put this security camera on top of garage door. So I can see the views of front yard and road. Picture quality is good. Night vision is clear too. You can set to get notice when the camera detect movement. You also can make the camera pan or tilt from your phone if you want to see different direction.

LaView Security Camera Outdoor is a good camera with excellent picture quality the best part about the system of this wifi cameras is the autonomy of one from another. Basically if one broken you still have the other ones activatelly recording. Zero burned hdd on dvr. The only downside is that there is not a Windows app or date hours search.

I am seriously impressed with these camera and the picture quality. Sound quality is good for the most part but cuts out at times and we may need to tweak them a bit to correct it. Motion detection works great. The only thing I am having trouble with is setting the surveillance area setting. It seems like no matter how many times I set it to where I want it to record the camera will continue past the set boundaries which means it will sometimes turn inwards towards the outer wall of our house. Not a problem if we do not use the motion sensor.

The only problem I have with the camera is the motion follow feature works to a point. If someone or something is detected, the camera will follow until the object moves off to the side and then the camera just stays looking to the side. someone could then sneak up on the other side and disable the camera. I just disable the follow feature for now hoping there will be a fix.

I bought this as a gift my husband and he loved it. He was able to have it linked and working in less than 5 minutes and installed in 30. We tested all the functions of the camera and found absolutely zero issues, everything works as advertised. We’re already planning to get 4 more!

This camera is great we rent our apartment so we don’t own the building. We have had a problem with people breaking into our cars so we needed to find a camera that wouldn’t damage the outside of the building but was also reliable enough to capture images if someone tried to break into our cars again. This camera does all of that and more it’s weather proof it can be connected by WiFi only or you can run a Ethernet cord to it if you want. There is minimal damage to the building and the pictures are great. If you throw a SIM card in it you can record notifications And videos of movement and the images are not blurry or cloudy at all, even in the rain you still get a pretty decent picture. I would say the night vision is almost better than the regular Image and we have absolutely no lights outside our building so it is dark. It connects easily to the app and the other cameras we have inside our house. For the price you can’t beat it.

With all the expensive cameras out there (that I originally bought) this one could replace them all. I bought this for a remote part of my property (with power) and didn’t want to invest a lot into it as the area doesn’t get much activity. The picture is clear and there’s even a talk feature if you needed that. The app is easy to use. I really like that you can record sections of video and it’s stored in the app. This is a great camera and you can’t beat the price.

I really like the security cameras. They are easy to setup and function well matched as described in the product description. I can view the camera output on my cell phone in real time and can switch easily from one camera to the next. I can also set the cameras to capture a short video when motions are detected also, I will get a notification on my phone. I can even review the short video that was recorded. I can then switch to real time viewing and can see the camera output in real time. I was worried about buying these because people complained about motion detection, which is the most important feature. If you follow the instructions for installation there will be no issues with motion. I have tested my setup many times and the motion detection are always working. It also can be adjusted motion detecting zone to find the ideal setting for us. In terms of motion sensitivity, there are two settings that allow you to control the sensitivity. There is a setting that basically lets you set the motion schedule from the camera that you will pick up alerts. There is also an additional setting that lets you change the sensitivity with three settings that are equivalent to a high, standard, and low. As far as video quality, it works well at night and in the day. I watch my kids in our backyard when they play with dog at night, and I'm able to see them being fine. If you want high resolution like watching a movie then yes, the video quality is standard. The camera can be rotated. However, if you want to see if anyone is trying to break into your house or simply to monitor your yard when you're home or not at home, it is perfectly fine. We’ve even recommended them to our friends.

Wow! I had no idea so much happens outside my front door! We've captured birds building nests in my door wreath and even raccoons and stray cats wandering on our front porch, not to mention our guests whom I can speak to from other locations. If someone is up to no good, I can sound the alarm from my cell phone. We upgraded and purchased the yearly subscription to save all our videos. This camera works great and is very responsive. Had the camera up and running in less than ten minutes. Excellent quality picture. The camera records 24/7. Build quality is brilliant and the SD card slot is nicely water tight. The speaker is good with clear speech being able to be heard, the microphone is also very clear. You can speak through the device and turn on audio to pick up sound from the room. Through the app, you can control the camera movement and sound. My family is very happy we bought this camera.

This is a decent camera with a great picture capture for this price point. There has been some vandal activity in the area and we wanted to add a little extra security. The camera was easy to install and set up on the exterior of the house. Sound capture is clear and crisp. Picture is best closer in for facial features, but it does a decent job of capturing activity further out. No problems viewing camera footage away from the house. I love that you can view it from anywhere, it notifies you of movements and records what was happening. My favorite part is the motion detector and how it rotates, following the movement. It has a great full color mode and awesome night vision. My only regrets are that we didn’t buy it sooner and get more than one! The app lets me view the cameras from anywhere and I can talk thru the cameras. Pleased with this purchase!

This is my first waterproof camera and when I installed the micro card I knew that it would be safe from the elements. They seem to work excellent. I chose the Outdoor Camera because It can be installed indoors or outdoors in multiple locations, which I found fascinating. It gets very windy in my area so the real test will be to see how it holds up in the wind and adverse weather conditions. I installed it in the doorway and it still worked well after a rainstorm. I was surprised to find that the quality of the picture was still the same as it was sturdy and durable. And it rains a lot in our area, which makes it even more annoying if it rains and the camera doesn't work. I think the waterproof feature is very important for outdoor cameras This is a durable camera and I feel a sense of security knowing I have it outside.

What can I say but AWESOME, I purchased another camera at around the same price in the past and this camera left it in the dust as far as picture quality, the night vision, and the quality of the camera its self, it almost lights night and day. I'm not the best "Geek" guy, but I found it easy to set up and use. I'm using it 2.4g and it was as easy as download the app, enter very little info and start using. It does offer a cloud service and it works great. Not to mention it comes with a month of free cloud storage. Before cloud storage, I used memory cards. With SD card slot, you can put 64GB SD card. But if you want to record things, then I suggest you subscribe cloud storage. The storage capacity is quite large, and the cloud is cheap. Very happy with the cloud service now.

The Laview PT camera is a very good security camera. From my videos and pictures, I think the image quality is very good. The image set for myself is a bit confusing, but I am now 74 years old and not very savvy with electronic devices, but I finally got everything done and it works well. Whether our UPS personnel put packages or deer into our yard, it is very alert. And it has a two-way voice call function, which allows me to talk to people around the camera without going out, which saves me a lot of things, so I am very satisfied with this camera.

This camera has all the standard functions that all most all security cameras come with nowadays, but this one can pan almost 360 degrees around, tilt up and down 110 degrees. This also requires an SD card, It will hold up to a 128GB card. You can also open a cloud service if you want to record more video. It's easy to install and set up Laview APP that I already use for other cameras. Just hit the add camera button in the app, scan the barcode and the camera gets added to the app and you are up and running. Once added, you can go into the settings and change things like date/time, motion detection, and notifications. Then you can view what the camera sees remotely from anywhere in the world and get notifications when motion is detected. You can also turn on that the camera will follow the motion when it sees it. That is cool. Overall, a very nice camera with a great video day and night.

This Wi-Fi camera is amazing! I have owned a few different Wi-Fi camera brands and this one was the fastest setup by far! Out of box set up working on my phone was less than 5 minutes, I barely had to glance at the instructions. I love how I can pan and tilt the camera right from the app. You technically do not even need an SD card. If you are viewing live you can save an image or video right to your phone. An SD card would let you recall days (depending on the SD card size. There is even a cloud services which is amazing if the camera gets stolen. I have not had much time to mess with it yet but the motion sensor alerts my phone every time the dog walks by and I can click on the notification and see what set it off. There is even two way Audio talk feature which is great when the dogs are getting into something I can tell them to stop when I am not home! This is really a great camera.

I bought this outdoor camera to monitor my driveway and alert me when there any activity. It does a great job in alerting me if there is any change in the focus area. I tried the "motion tracking" feature to track a door delivery and it does an awesome job recording it and I was able to view it very easily through my app. The pictures were very clear with date and time stamp. The setup was quite straight forward, took less than 10 minutes to set it up. Very satisfied so far and very delighted to rate it with 5 stars.

My mom always takes care of my babies so she is not with her phone all the time, so 2- way communications is great. I can talk to her through this camera while she can't pick up her phone. Another reason why I had to purchase this camera which us monitor thefts in my front door. I lost packages if I’m not home or take it in later. This corona virus make things and people change. This thing really reaches out there way farther than I ever expected. The price point of the camera is fantastic, I ordered one for safety. In all honesty I was expecting a low quality product, I am very surprised as to how well this camera performs. I’m currently using it as an outdoor camera. The app that is used for the camera works very well and efficiently. In my opinion the night vision quality could be a little better, objects are still visible. Overall picture quality is very good you can definitely make out faces and more minor details if necessary. The sound quality it is able to pick up is pretty impressive and it even has a speaker option to be able to talk through the camera, the lens is able to rotate 360 degrees which means amazing coverage. If you’re looking for a inexpensive camera that you can control through your phone this is definitely the camera for you!

I have two cameras and I love them excellent picture quality, works better then I would have expected and after having question about a small problem and contacting customer service I am glad to say that got back to me within hours and the problem was only that I had turned on an switch that didn't need on. This camera has all I need! I use this for home security and to check on my pet when I’m out. Love the rotating feature! Saves money for additional cameras. I got one that doesn’t rotate and I realized it is not going to work with so many blind spots-more like blind areas. This one I can just move around the screen and the rotates around, almost covers every angle in the room. It also let me speak and it is actually very loud, considering how tiny this camera is. I can actually call and get my pets attention too. I initially wanted one for outdoors, and I got this because it says it’s water proof. After I got it, I figured I would installed it indoors anyways, as it is way better than the home camera I got before. I will probably get one extra for outdoors. This thing works with Alexa too. I don’t use Alexa, but helps if I do decide to get one. Picture quality is decent for this price point. It lags a little bit, yes, especially when you move it around, but I don’t see it a problem. It’s clear enough to see whatever I need to see.

Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed. How big is it. Depending on your preference, this may be a good thing or a bad thing, and I think it's not bad. It is equipped with a camera stand, quite long cables, mounting screws and power bricks (the latest iPhones are not even equipped with haha). Overall, this is a very reliable package. It has all the functions I need. The 1080P picture quality is also very good, especially the angle of rotation, which allows me to see a wider picture. You can install an SD card to store videos, and it also has cloud services, you can choose the service according to your needs, in general, the camera and APP are very easy to use!

I first purchased one of their indoor camera and was so impressed I had to purchase an outdoors one as well. Excellent quality at a decent price. The videos are very clear for both day and night vision. Not grainy looking like others I’ve seen. What I like best is it can be viewed from my phone anytime, anywhere. The motion detector sensitivity is adjustable so you won’t get false alarms every time a bug flys by. The set up is very simple and comes with everything you need except the SD card. Just download the Digit Cam app from the QR code (which I already had) and follow the steps on the add camera. I also love I have all my cameras within one app. Makes things so simple. You can control the pan/tilt to look around which is great. I sometimes use it to check on my sunbathing dog. If she’s not moving the camera won’t be focused on her. The microphone is great also. I’ve had conversations with my husband while he’s outside and I’m indoors. Very convenient. This one I installed out back so I can have a view of the entire yard. I plan on purchasing one of their doorbell camera for the front of the house where I only need my porch observed. I have yet to be disappointed with any of their products. This one is an absolute must have.

This camera is really amazing!! I set in up in my garage where my dogs have access to during the day while i'm at work. The camera not only notifies me when it detects that my dog is in the garage, it allows me a full range view of the dog so I can track his movements. Its a cool gadget for those who have pets, they want to watch, but cant. I definitely recommend it, esp since it can be used for something other than just watching pets. The motion detection is pretty cool, because you dont have to always keep an eye out, you will get a notification on your phone when it tracks movement.
