How do I share camera feed with my family members? There’s no button to do “share device” or “my share “ what should I do ?

We bought these to monitor some things outside of the house and I was skeptic about these wireless cameras and their quality. Wow. I was blown away. The video quality and sound quality coming from these are much nicer than I thought they would be. Set up was easy. My wife just followed the directions and I placed them where we thought we needed them. The set comes with screws which is great. Everything in the box. We just download the app. And control of what we need. We can use the wide angle lens to see everything we need. We can turn on the mic if we need to listen. The infrared cam for night time is great for nighttime viewing. Great set of Cameras!!!

It’s a shame, because I really like the video quality and the features in the app. But the battery life is horrible. After charging all day and over night, both my cameras were down to 60% battery life after the first full day. I just can’t see having to charge them every other day. I don’t understand how they claim 270 day battery life?

Received the starter kit with two cameras even though I needed three cameras because of the pandemic they were out of stock because of their inability to get them shipped in a timely manner. Their customer support is fantastic and they worked with me on acquiring an extra N20 camera and as a whole I am it's a very satisfied with the performance this security camera system offers especially for the price. Simple setup and the ability to install an SD card in the hub which offers very good range. I will change this review to five star if LaView addresses my one issue. The issue I have is I would prefer to subscribe to their cloud service because even though the hub has optional internal storage and is indoors, if it is stolen then your footage is gone. The company does offer cloud service which I did sample and works very well but they charge per camera and other systems I've used will actually bundle cloud service depending on how many cameras you have. I am using three on this system and I would like cloud service from the company but I think they should offer a small discount if you buy cloud service for multiple cameras instead of charging for each individual camera. Otherwise I'm very satisfied I just used a charging block and a long cable to recharge the cameras which were at 60% l battery level after 136 days which is right in line with what they represent as far as battery life maybe even better and they're simple to charge. Hopefully they take my advice which I've given them before and offer a cloud bundling option for multiple cameras but quite honestly you can't beat the quality for the price. I am very happy with the performance and the ease of installation. A great option if you don't want to wire power to the cameras or solar panels, the charge on them last a very long time. The night vision is very decent and you can adjust the sensitivity so small animals or insects do not activate the camera. All in all a really good product, I just hope they consider a bundling option for cloud service with multiple cameras.
Update: LaView listens to thier customers. Although they offer a option where you can use a micro msd card in thier system, that can be seied or stolen in a robbery. I used the free trial for the clould service they offered and found it to be very good even offering more features than simple msd storage, I didn't like that they required a subscription for each camera. I suggested to them they should offer a multi camera cloud subscription and they answered that it might be a good idea and they have now changed their offering and now have a 3 camera cloud plan at a reasonable price. I have upgraded my system to a third camera so it's perfect. Thank you LaView for listening to your customers!

Camera has good video quality, software is not the best.
Human detection spotty. Would miss people
Would pick up tree branches
When it detects humans there is lag.
Not for high traffic areas.
If you dont need continuous record and dont mind charging device every few weeks. Then its ok

I love these cameras. They have so many great features. There is an anti theft feature so if someone tries to remove the camera or is banging around it, it sets off an alarm on the camera. It has human detection, so it tells you if it sees a human or just regular motion. The night vision is crisp and clear. It works with alexa. The battery life is incredible. Can't say enough good things. Quick and easy set up as well. Definitely would recommend.

I just bought a house and although the neighborhood seems quiet you never can be safe. I purchased this before it was within our budget. I have set it on the window sill for now and went on vacation, however when I get back from vacation, we plan to install one in the front and one in the back. It was easy to set up with step by step instructions. The app was very user friendly. Was quick to sync. I have Starlink Internet so it was quick. The picture I posted is it's current view and very crisp. I can monitor easily using the app. Definitely recommend this product!!

These work like a dream! The charge lasts about 4 months per camera and if you are monitoring your property, you do not need a "CLOUD" purchase as you can save your camera shots on your phone for future use. LOVE THESE!

Overall great camera but some functionality missing like enable/disable cameras, activity zone selection.

This camera was purchased for usage in my front door. I work the night shift and needed a camera to keep a watch on the door and garage while I was gone. I needed a camera that runs on batteries and connects to WiFi so that I wouldn't have to make holes in the walls for electricity and Internet. I ordered this camera since it met all of my needs. Before using it for the first time, I fully charged it for a few hours. I started setting up after I was sure it was completely charged. To begin, you must first download the app and register, which takes only a few minutes. Then, once the app is ready, switch on the camera and show the QR code from your phone screen to the camera, which will immediately connect. The app itself is excellent; you can choose between HD and SD photos, as well as capture screen shots and video to save to your phone. You can enable motion detection and receive notifications when your phone detects movement. I've only had it for a few days and the battery is still charged, so I can't comment on battery life, but I'll update my review to let everyone know how long it lasts before I have to charge it again. I am extremely pleased with this small camera, and it has behaved as predicted thus far, so I give it 5 stars!——By Amazon Customer

Great battery life and picture quality. Best part in my opinion is the battery power so you can put them anywhere. I enjoy the motion detection so I know if anyone is near my house or car when I'm not around.——By Amazon Customer

Clear picture. I like the fact that an alarm sounds on the camera if it is moved.

Super impressed by the advanced human detection motion detection, no more false notifications on windy days, literally only detects a person when you turn it on.
Battery life is amazing, have used them nonstop for 3 weeks, both cameras show 100%. I love the Hub concept, can use one memory card for multiple cameras, saves $$$. Range is great, I have the cameras on either end of my 4,000 sq ft ranch, both have great reception. The tamper alarm is also a nice touch. Highly impressed with this new camera system.——By Amazon Customer

I love how these cameras are wireless and doesn't need to run a cord. I had no problem setting up the cameras. I haven't figured out how to setup the base wireless to my internet.
I like how the camera show a detection between human and objects (like cats or deer) setting off the cameras outside.
I would recommend these cameras that anyone looking for reasonable and dependable security system.—— By Amazon Customer

Very easy to install and setup. The night vision works amazing. You can set your zone area you want the motion detection to scan and have the option for local Micro SD card storage or the option for cloud storage. Highly recommend. Works well for me, had no troubles connecting the base station or the cameras to the app. Easy to install with the screw template. Mounted on porch and driveway and was able to pick up all the movements and view them in the app.

I wish I would have found this LaView set before I purchased 16 other cameras that I just didn’t like or never worked properly. This set is PERFECT. First I like that it has a base that is where you install SD card and allows the completely honest wire free cameras to be placed further away from your home or business. I like that they will only need a recharge about every 270 days except during very cold temperatures. I really like the AI intelligence thermal detection human body filter. If you are looking for a simple to install camera security system filled with excellent features, give this a try.

I just put these cameras up today and they seem great so far! Great night vision! Excellent service from their company also.

I was leery because of the price, but I have 4 other LaView cameras and have been happy with them. The base station was easy to setup and connects directly to my modem, which I prefer over strictly Wi-Fi. Now, the cameras connect wirelessly to the base station, though.
I replaced two cameras, one that was outside and one inside for me to entryway. Both were equally easy to setup.
There's not really a delay between the outside camera that faces my car, and the base, even with the thick brick separating them.
The attached two pictures are from the outside one with sunlight and me for perspective and the other during the snowstorm the other night. Also for perspective.
The alarm is pretty loud and annoying, especially if you are tweaking the camera and set off the tampering alarm. Which is a nice feature to have on outside and turned off inside.
The base station also supports a 64gb SD card with a nice compression rate to maximize the storage space. I'll be interested in testing the wireless battery life, especially for the specific outside camera. One can hear the motion detection click on, so you know that's also working.

Works OK but not with Alexa. They tell me they are working on problem.

This is a great camera monitor. Easy setup, easily managed with your smartphone, clear image quality with motion detection. Can be set up to arm and record at any time.
Overall it is easy to use and I would recommend it for a home security camera.

These turned out to be very useful and work well. A bit tricky to set up for sure but work great. I plan to add a wireless doorbell and possibly a couple more cams.

The night vision is surprisingly good for a set at this price and the battery life is pretty good. The cameras have been up there for about a month and still shows >90% battery life. I had a few minor issues initially but they're not even worth mentioning as customer service has been great and everything is resolved. Definitely recommend purchasing.

I've had these LaView security cameras for over a week now and am very impressed. The setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. I already had the LaView app on my phone so it took only a few minutes to plug in the base station and pair the cameras. The cameras came fully charged so that was a bonus. The cameras have some weight to them an feel well made. One thing to note: they come with the tamper alarm set on so it goes off while setting them up. Need to turn that off while placing them. It's great that they are wireless and I don't have to run wires to them or plug them in. I placed one on a tree overlooking my garage and front entryway to alert me when packages or guests arrive as we live in the country at the end of a long driveway. Works great so far and the picture quality is fantastic despite the fact that the camera is quite a ways from the base station. Even the night vision shots are clear. I use my cell phone to do live checks of the house when I'm away and the alert notifications work well.
I like that they use a base station to link multiple cameras rather than each one operating independently.
The app on my phone works well and is easy to navigate but the functions are not fully explained in the supplied instructions. There is a good YouTube video that explains all their functions though. I like that the app displays signal strength and battery level as well as having a human detection feature to minimize false alarms.
I had a question on using the MicroSD card and emailed LaView support. The response was quick and Professional.

This is the perfect system for all type of users. This system was VERY easy to setup and install to where you need it most.
Each camera is rechargeable using USB C for quick charging. The camera case is very well constructed with IP67 weatherproof performance and clear two way communication. These outdoor cameras has built-in advanced motion detection and Intelligent real-time alerts feature will help you to receive message alerts on your phone, I find that the notifications are very accurate and will pick up mostly people walking their dogs and sometimes vehicles.
The base unit is very small and light, so I just stack it on top of my other electronics and hardwire it into the modem. This base unit helps by improving wireless range and creates a stable connection: 50-100% than regular wi-fi camera. It also helps by reducing power consumption by 20-50%, and improving live stream speed by 50%, and I'm loving those benefits so far. I included couple photos of how I mounted the cameras, one is simple laying on the stand to cover our front. The other camera was mounted on a screw we had previously on the wall.
The software/app was simple to install using the photo scan to app store. Once installed I created a new account and the app will walk you through the whole process. It was quick and painless, people of all ages will be able to complete this set up within 10 minutes. You're able to navigate though this easily because of how simple the menu is. Scrolling through the "notifications" makes it simple to see what flagged your camera.
This brand has been in the camera game for a long time, and I'm happy to be able to use this system at my house because of how simple it is for my family to use. There is no lag from notification to pulling up the camera on the phone--which is what I love the most.

Arrived nicely packaged. This set of cameras work extremely well. They image is very clear. Has motion sensing that works really nicely. It also has two way audio and AI human detection. These cameras are nice and compact and are very easy to use, plug and play. The night vision works very well and it is IP67. so far the battery has lasted me about a month and still going. The only thing I dislike is that it only works on 2G, but that's not a deal breaker in my view. Overall a great set of cameras that work as described. I love them!

Built in battery makes it easy to install not having to worry about having a power cord or outlet nearby. Great detection great visibility

Installed the LaView N20 wire free security cameras in my back yard. It works great!!
The best part is that they are wire free and the range of the wifi signal is about 250 ft. I don't have electricity where installed and these cameras did the trick. The picture is super clear and the app works great on my android phone.
I already recorded some video of someone who I suspect was hanging around my yard. The motion detection and the notification to my phone alerted me that someone was loitering near the yard. The base station which is inside the house is also a plus because the video is stored where it is safe.
I would give the product 5 stars
P.S. --It was easy to install and set up.

I've always been a fan of LaView. My home surveillance system has good coverage but had two blind spots because of a lack of convenient electrical outlets. The LaView Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor Security Camera System solved my problem. Great picture, easy to install and set up, and a really good price.

I'm reviewing the dual camera system with the base station. There was no memory card that was included with the system but I was able to successfully use a 128GB Samsung micro sd card in the base station. The system is capable of handling up to 4 cameras but for the time being, I'm just using the two that were supplied with the system.
The template that is included in the box was easy to use and I was able to drill into the side of the house for one of the cameras and another into a tree without any difficulties. The cameras are about 30 feet away from the base station and I have not had any connectivity issues with them.
Charging the cameras was painless and easy. So far it seems that the battery has only gone down slightly over the past 5 days with roughly 25 detections per camera per day. The ability to use the app on my iPhone to view these cameras is nice! Previous to this I have also bought the two package of the moving indoor camera which had the 32GB cards included inside them. Those do not require this basestation.
Overall, I feel that this is a good system and the alerting has been manageable and not obtrusive where the cameras are positioned. I will be attempting to change where they are pointed to reduce the amount of alerts. Quite a feature rich device and had all of the features that I was looking for.
Paul
Very good video quality, easy setup. Really like that the base station connects to network via Ethernet, so that I can turnoff Wifi wireless signal when we are away and still have access to view cameras.
Only issue I have is, how to buy the add on cameras. The base station has the option to add up to 4 cameras, but I can not find the individual N20 cameras for sale on Amazon.
One improvement I would like to see to the software is a quick access button to toggle off/on the motion detection. So the messages don't fill up with detection alerts when we are outside. Right now you have to navigate though the settings menu to turn off the PIR to stop filling the message/notification list with unnecessary messages.

These actually have a better image quality than other products like it.
I really appreciate the value in them and definitely think they're great for in home use.
The battery life seems to be holding up ok so far.
Overall I think they're pretty good for what I need them for and am overall happy with them.

Easy set up. From mounting the camera, to installing the cameras system mounts, process took less then an hour. User friendly.

I was able to unbox this camera set by plugging in the white hub based into my Linksys router. Then charge the two cameras by removing the rubber flap on the bottom of the camera.
Download LaView app ( not the one or connect version ) from App Store for my iPhone XR.
Setup camera to app ( just need email ) use camera to scan app
Add LaView skill to to my alexa account
Finally have video appear on echo show, I can also use the mic button on my fire stick remote and have the camera appear on our television screen!
The night vision is nice and clear.

This is a great security camera option for those who doesn't want to drill holes in the walls for wires.
It comes with 2 cameras that has rechargeable batteries, which can be charged using USB-C cable.
The battery supposed to last up to 270 days, which is pretty impressive but I'm sure it will be shorter if it constantly detects motions all day long. Ideally this type of camera is good for places where there should not be any motion other than potential intruders.
The setting up the camera with the free app for my iPhone was pretty straight forward. You do have to sign up and create a free account in order to use the app and camera.
By default, it asks you to connect to your router using ethernet cable but there's also an option to connect via wireless, which is what I did. I always use GUEST wireless SSID access point for anything that needs my home wireless access.
After I successfully setup the app, I was playing around with the camera in my hand and immediately received few notifications about motion and human detection then a loud alarm went off few times. It turns out that it has a Tamper Alarm, which is great since alarm will go off if intruder tries to turn off or turn the camera around. The Tamper Alarm can be disabled from the setting in the app.
The video quality was impressive and the app is very intuitive. It shows the battery level as well as wireless signal strength. The base station is what connects to your wireless and has the microSD card for video recording. The 2 cordless cameras communicate with the base station so they will work fine as long as they are close to the base station.
You have the option to purchase the subscription to store the video recordings in the cloud but I don't think this is needed since all recordings will be in the base station, which is inside your house so even if the camera is tampered, they can't get to the recorded video files unless they break into the house. Hopefully, you will get the notification when it detects the intruders and take action to scare them off.
The cordless feature of this security camera is the main attraction for me. I can place this cameras in different places and move them around as needed. I don't like to have security camera permanently mounted since it makes it appear like I have a reason to keep intruders out but I do want to set up it up when I'm going out of town or vacation since that's when I need it the most.
Overall, I'm very happy with it and it's well designed in both hardware and software app. 5 out of 5 stars!

Recently, both of my neighbors' cars have been broken into and they stole everything they could in their cars, including chump changes, to fishing gears, sunglasses, etc... It's getting pretty ridiculous since the cops couldn't do anything. My front door and front yard camera caught them in the act, but it was way too far to see anything clearly or get a good read of the thieves' license plate... Thus, the reason I got this camera set. Both cameras have built-in battery and it last pretty long on a full charge. I have them up for almost a month, and battery is at around 85% right now. It's very small, very compact and white so they blend in well in my tree (where I attached these cameras on the tree trunk near my front gate, so I can have better video footage of the street and side walk in front of my house). I also like this setup with a central hub, because the captured videos and photos are stored on the micro SD card on the hub (which is sitting inside my house), in case thieves spot the cameras and trying to steal the camera, I can still have the footage to give to authority or insurance claims. I have the central hub sitting inside my house, which is about 100 feet away from the cameras, and the signal quality is at around 60%, which is pretty stable to ensure no losses in captured video/photo transferring. The phone app also notifies me anytime it detects a motion and send me a snapshot when motion was detected. It works very well so far. Hopefully, next time something happens in front of my house, I can get a clearer footage to provide to authority.
