HU03 Smart lock

I bought this lock thinking its a smart lock as stated, well it's not a smart lock at all. Mechanism lock/unlock is noisy. So -2 stars for these two issues. Other than that this is a good lock for the price.

since I've owned this lock I haven't locked my keys in my house one single time I love it

I really liked this product..... sometimes it was hard to get the touch screen on without "pounding" it and the app would take forever to get working to unlock the door. It was easy to install as I did it myself and I am not handy at all. I really did like it except for those 2 things which is why I returned.

I broke my leg and I’m in a wheelchair for a while so I can’t get to the door. I installed this in about 5 min, super easy and I didn’t have to even change the door jam. The app setup was a bit vague but still easy to figure out. I love not having to get up to unlock/lock my door. This was well worth the price.

I bought this lock for my new house. It looks very nice and fits the style of my house. It works very well with the touch screen. I can also use my cellphone to unlock. It syncs immediately and no delay. So cool! I don’t bring my keys anymore.

I love this lock! The fact that it automatically lock is the perfecr feature. No more trying to remember if I locked the door behind me or checking to see if the door is locked at night.

I have been looking for a smart door lock that is easier to use. I want this one better than others because it can choose the key. I found a pin at the bottom of this lock so that the battery can charge it enough to enter the door. Instead of my key being under the stone, I hid a power bank. The app is super simple and easy to figure out. The locking mechanism is very quiet, you can't lock it here at all! He can use an app with Bluetooth on his phone to unlock it! I like this lock and recommend it to all my friends!

This lock was simple to install. Beware you don't have to have 2 holes on your door to install this. My previous lock was installed with 1 hole and I was able to use that same hole to install this lock. I like that it brings its own gateway which allows you too to open and unlock your doors via Wi-Fi. It can also be setup via Bluetooth. App allows you to setup different passwords, delete them, re-change them, etc. Lock opens and closes without any issues and has worked everytime. I haven't had any issues.

I'm redoing my garage and have an entry door that needed a new lock. I bought this lock because of it having a touch screen and bluetooth unlock/lock capabilities.. and I couldn't be happier. It was pretty easy to install and it looks really modern and sleek. The bluetooth function is so convenient! I was torn between a WiFi version and a bluetooth one, but for safety reasons decided to go with bluetooth and don't regret it one bit.

Nice smart lock. Took a little bit time to install in my back entry door. But it is ok Just follow the instruCtion. Not too complicated. The touch digits pad works fine.

i buy it for my office.its easy install only one screw driver done everything and Four 2A battery . when install do not need used the USB charges. it's working when battery inside .i try use the app without key it's so cool. best value

This smart lock looks pretty good actually. Like the fact that it can be controlled by Bluetooth and also wifi. The instruction is pretty clear and it comes with all the accessories you need. I feel the installation video is easier to follow than the paper manual. A common issue for smart lock is the lack of torque for the motor. So your door has to aligned well with the frame otherwise the lock won't be able to engage or release. BTW, the app is easier to use and stable. :)

Love these. You can set multiple codes for different people which is awesome. My only complaint is that these locks are LOUD. I can hear them through my whole house EVERY time they auto lock.

Really simple and quick to install. Good quality sturdy materials. Touchscreen is very responsive. It’s nice that it includes the wifi gateway, so you can unlock and lock the door from anywhere. Once you connect the lock to the gateway and the hugolog connect app, it’s a lot easier to manage codes and users. I would have liked if the record log showed locked records as well as unlock, but it’s nice to see the unlock records. There’s no auto Bluetooth unlock when you approach the door, but those are usually not reliable anyway. It would be nice if it was compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant, but it is not.

I really like these locks, but I purchased 4 and 1 will not connect to internet.

This thing work for a month and now don’t lock the door automatically anymore. It keep making weird noise for hours

Hard to install, unfriendly user setup, and falsely advertised as working with google or alexa. It does not. This is not a smart lock.

Really nice lock. Put it in the basement door to let family in without having to manually unlock the door. I can do it right from my phone.

I installed this today and I really like it. It did take me a little while to get it working, but it was mostly user error. When I first got it installed, the key worked but the manual deadbolt and the code wouldn’t unlock it. I finally figured out that I had the little piece that makes it twist on the inside of the backplate on backwards! Once I got that on the right way, and got working batteries in the lock, I was able to pair the gateway and the deadbolt in the app easily and set it up. I love that it locks automatically behind you after you come inside the house, so no more worrying about my son forgetting to lock the door when he comes in late. I love that you can lock it after you leave by just pushing any button for 2 seconds - super easy and faster than locking with a key. I love the extra reinforced strike plate, & I love the look and convenience of this. Very happy with my purchase! * When posting this, I see it’s on a little crooked! Good thing it’s easy to adjust if you need to, just unscrew a couple screws on the side and it will adjust however you need it to.

I purchased this because you do not need to purchase a hub or service, or Google Assistant or Alexa, to use it and it's a great price point. It does come with a gateway "hub" you plug in near the device to help reserve power for Bluetooth use and utilize your WiFi network (so you can check it's status away from home, or unlock/lock the door when you're out of Bluetooth range). All fairly simple to install, works with a native app you need the QR code to download, which is provided. Features listed are true as advertised, good quality. Comes with a special reinforced strike plate for added security. Would definitely purchase again.

First and foremost. I need to clear something up. Someone noted, in the app store, that when they connected the phone app to their lock, then changed the master code it disconnected the app. This is because the app is using that master code to connect to the lock. And when it connects, it locks out the master code on the lock. As long as the lock is connected to the app, the master code no longer works. In order to return the lock to manual programming, you need to do a factory reset, which locks out the app. You will need to add user pass codes to the lock via the app, because the app locks out all programing on the lock. This is the way it is supposed to be. I figured this out after 3 factory resets, and trying to program codes on the lock. Now, onto a review of the lock and app. I am a retired locksmith. I bought this lock, because I found a killer deal here on Amazon. I really didn't need this grade of lock just to go onto my work shed the will house my CO2 laser. But, I got the lock for the same price as one of the lower quality Hugolog locks. So, I went for it. This lock is decent quality, full metal casing on the combo side, less the touch screen, and full metal on the inside, less the battery holder. To compare this to all the locks I have installed over the years, this is your typical import lock. But, it is better quality than most I have worked with. I had two requirements when I bough this lock. One, the combo, I know that one is obvious. And two, is the key bypass, as my cave (as in mancave), doesn't have any other access door. Install, setup and basic operation was fairly simple. Installed and up and running fairly quickly. But, the app, that took me a while to get sorted out, as I explained above. Syncing the app via Bluetooth was pretty easy, but finding the rest of the options, took me a bit. The company needs to put the app through a UI redesign. I can think of a few things that need to be fixed to make the app easier for the DIY home novice. I gave the lock 4 stars because of the app, not the lock. And the instructions need work, too. They need to revamp them for this lock and stop using generic instructions for all their combo locks. Or at least add extra instructions for the app use and explanations that the app locks you out of the programming mode of the touch screen. I have no problem with programming with my phone, but they could at least tell you this fact. Personally, I'd rather use my phone than the touch screen. It is SOOOOOO much easier once you figure the app out. The only thing I can think of that the company could add to the user codes, is a one time code. This way you could let someone in once, then when they lock it, it wipes the code.

It was not easy to install and even harder to set up on the app. I'm constantly having to reconnect it. It works as expected.....when it stays connected.

At first, I thought the installation would be complicated but after reading the instruction I had my new smart lock installed within 30 to 40 minutes. I am still amazed at everything this lock can do! You have accessibility to unlock your door manually with the key, by putting in an access code on the touch screen, by using the app on your phone or smart devices. You can assign different permanent codes to trusted users or give out temporary codes to guests. You can determine the amount of time that code will be good for, as in 1 hour, a day or even a week. And you have a full ability to delete any code at any time you choose to deny access to any person. The app has an ability to monitor who is coming in and out of you home. This lock comes with a Wi-Fi smart hub to keep you connected and informed at all the times. This lock is amazing. I recommend it to anyone that is in the market for purchasing a smart lock. This smart lock is making my family feel safe and secure in our home.

I had to figure out the programing of the different codes, but once you learn how to change master it is easy

Solid deadbolt Great product! Had the lock installed in about 10 minutes. I had a bit of trouble getting the deadbolt positioned properly. (It must be lined up perfectly for the bolt to operate smoothly.) The deadbolt included with the lock is adjustable, compared to a standard fixed deadbolt strike.I have to twist it then stretch a little bit for space to match my door. Hugolog Connect app works well. Happy with the purchase.

Good purchase Our first smart lock seems to work well. Installation wasn't too hard, the bolt has to slide in and out very smoothly with no resistance or it jams up. Works with our smart phones using the Bluetooth hub. The auto unlock when you arrive home is hit or miss so far but not a big deal. The keypad works well enough although sometimes you have to touch it more than once to light the numbers up, being able to set individual pins for everyone and get notifications on your phone is nice.

Bought for front door upgrades. Good product! It fits my need: remote control, auto lock, password/phone unlock,lock status check... However, Guys, you have to make sure it fits your door. In my case, my door bore hole size is smaller than the standard. The installation guide has the measurement claimed so check that out. Also, you need a Philip screwdriver or you can pay for the installation. Others are all fine.

The best part is my guest can open front door when am not home and u can choose up to 20 code very easy to install.

I used to buy different kinds of smart lock and have this one because it does have a keyhole and I‘m the type of a person who does not always trust the system with electronic gears, so a keyhole and a backup key would keep me secured. Also, I wanna share my experience here , one day I forgot to take the key with me when I went out to walk the dog, and also the keyboard is powered out, so here is the reason why I do not trust the lock with electronic stuffs, and I didn’t know what should I do to enter my house, so I contact the Hugolog Support Team inside the App, thanks to god they responded instantly and they told me that there is a micro USB port that I can plug a USB cable to charge the lock, so I went to the grocery store and bought a USB cable and charged the lock, and it worked. At least it allowed me to get in without detaching the lock from the door and I really appreciate it.

Easy to install! Highly recommend! I have bought other locks before, but I think this lock is the easiest lock I have installed so far. I think this lock installation is easier than I thought. As long as you have a screwdriver, it's super convenient. There are instructions in the box. There is also a way to set a password in the manual, which is practical for me. When I forget what to do next, I can read the instructions to operate. It is absolutely wise to follow the instructions. I kind of like the user manual provided, it is good. There are demo pics in the manual, so my installation is very easy. Love it! Speaking of locks, I think the parts are just right, not too trivial. I often forget where I left my things. So, I’m open to convenient things. And the size of the lock just fits, so installation won't be too hard for me. Highly recommend!

Don’t worry about Bluetooth working range anymore！ If you buy a lock with Bluetooth, there is a distance limit for using a Bluetooth connection alone. But if you have a Bluetooth gateway, you don't have to worry about the distance. And it is very convenient to operate. If you are a person who gets easily confused by Bluetooth distance, then I suggest you to buy a mesh gateway to work with. If you buy a gateway, you can do a remote-control lock. It will not be limited by the distance. I think the lock works best when used with a Bluetooth gateway. When a friend comes, I can use the Bluetooth gateway to open the door remotely. I think this is pretty cool. But it should be noted that the Bluetooth gateway needs to be purchased separately from the lock. So, after purchasing the lock, remember to get a Bluetooth gateway. I assure you that using the Bluetooth gateway with this lock is definitely worth the money.

This smart lock is a stunner! If you are going for either a fancy/rustic/farmhouse/chic look for your home or office, this is the smart lock for you. I'm actually looking to get a newer, better looking front door to upgrade the whole look, so I've yet to install it. However, I've installed locks before and this set looks very simple to install.
