I have new Wi-Fi so my cameras offline is just so difficult of getting it back on live and following every step and still can't get my stuff to reconnect customer service stuff cuz they keep sending you messages I would like to talk to someone directly to figure out what I need to do cuz I'm not getting nowhere and they're not helping I love the item the product when I was using it just so mad right now just a waste

80% battery and it disconnected from the WiFi, trying to get it to reset and it doesn’t work. I wish I had the Mount wired with permanent electricity, unfortunately I was unable to with the brick wall. 4 tries to reset and it is not connecting after the sound is made. This doorbell needs replacement. I don’t know if they would replace a doorbell purchased Black Friday and installed two months later or not.

Doesn't work very well - Starts recording after the person is leaving. Has motion detecting setting that does nothing - Uses PIR setting only. Camera picture is clear - I'll give it that. Had chat with there customer service. They tried to help but gave up when they couldn't push new firmware to the device - Save your money

I had a hard time connecting to the doorbell and cameras. Right now after charging all night the doorbell is only charged at 5%. If I unplug the doorbell from power it says it is offline. I am struggling with this system. Please provide me with instructions on how to get this to work.

To be onist you get what you pay for. The camera is not 1080 hd it's 480 I would say upscale. U ou can't download images. You can't use motion since you can't get it to alert you on your phone. Takes a long time to set up and install. Have to drill new hole in camera housing for security screw. Lots of lies you want v loud storage you pay a monthly fee. All in all tho comparing the night vision it has great night vision. As far as the indoor speaker it's super quit and requires a plug in not wireless.

I’m am super excited about this doorbell. For a long time I wanted a camera doorbell!! Camera is clear doorbell sound is great. Works great especially when I am upstairs and can’t run downstairs all the way to the door to see who is outside. Camera quality is good and so is the talk feature. The only complaint I have is the batteries. They came at only 44% and they are not regular size batteries so I have to figure out where to find them. There is a plug option but I can’t plug it in outside. Overall very very happy with this purchase!!

I like the quality of pictures with this camera but so far have not figured out how to get video record of motion's. There is also a slight lag in capturing photos but Im told it it could be my router. The image on the bottom could be more visible because you can't see directly below the camera if someone leaves a package which is really what I bought this for. However I do like being able to see and hear the outside front of my home when I'm away or even if I'm sitting on the back deck. All in all I like the idea of having it!

The product works as expected. Clear video camera. Easy install. Only complaint is that the batteries seem to discharge after 2-3 weeks. Seems like they should last longer between charges. Installation did not seem to have guidance on height of install. I looked online and found that i should install 48 inches from floor to bottom of doorbell. That worked pretty nice. Although I noticed that folks taller that ~ 6 foot start getting cut off. Seems another couple inches higher on the install would have been good. Although my entrance has a pillar that kinds of leads folks to stand close... overall pleased with purchase.

This was quick and easy to install, comes with battery charger in case your existing doorbell fixture doesn’t charge the battery, like ours. The camera is GREAT - the daytime color is crisp and clear, nighttime is black & white. I love using the app to talk to the person at the door. It’s convenient, has lots of great features and works well so far!!

The DB 6 itself seems to work well, but the IOS App is NOT intuitive, the instructions are printed in light blue ink with mouse-type (8pt font) and are unreadable. I have yet to find an online manual or PDF. I cannot find a way to schedule the motion sensor to turn on and off and I don't even see a manual way to do it in the app. I sent a note to tech support on the LaView web page asking for some assistance with this issues and more than a week later I have not had a response. I am giving this device 1 star because of the app, poor documentation and lack of customer support. I will try to update my review if anything changes, but I am not holding my breath.

We had another camera doorbell that took at least 30 seconds to activate the camera. Needless to say, it would only capture the person from the back leaving our front door. This doorbell activates in a couple of seconds and captured me walking up and standing at the door. It is just what we needed! Great job with a product that works very well. We love it! The camera was very easy to install. Sometimes, configuring it to the home wifi can be a drag but once is on, it's good to go. I tried motion tracking when first installed but quickly disabled it because once it moves yo follow motion, it would not return to its previous position. So, if there was some insect big enough to get noticed by motion tracker, it would move the camera view away and stay there. Not ideal if one wishes to continously monitor a certain area. A return to previous position for this camera would definitely bring it more attention...hint..hint..Laview. Also, a PoE connection instead of just a LAN connection would be great. Other than that these cameras are working pretty decent.

Great resolution! App works well. Two-way audio works well too. Very happy with this purchase. For the price, is a great set of cameras to use when going on vacation and you want to have the peace of mind that your leaving the place more secure .

I love the clarity of the camera, it's easy to install, and app is easy to set up, but the battery does not stay charged long. I have to charge it every 7 to 8 days when the description said a full charge should last 3 to 5 months.

The first and original doorbell camera is so awesome. I ordered not only one but two, one as a gift. And I will install the other one in another place in my house. The first review I gave it five stars, I would give 10 if I could. These cameras don’t seem to drain battery out at all. Also, the cloud service for this camera works good also.

An ease set up, you can be using the product in its full function right away, be sure to comply with the first full charge. The quality of the camera is surprisingly well and so is the motion detection even with night mode. The sound is clear that even if I’m not home it does not lag or sound chopped. The app is easy to navigate as well and keeps you informed. The only thing that bothers me is the chime. It is a usb plug but it doesn’t come with an adapter and it has about 2-3 sec lag once someone hits the doorbell. But overall it still a pretty great video doorbell.

I bought this doorbell camera for my parents due to a set of packages recently stolen. So far after the camera was set up no more thefts have been reported as the camera alerts/ records to any movements that happen in the front porch. It has a nice APP that goes along with the doorbell so that you can get a notification when someone is at the door and there would be an option to speak to them over the speaker. Would say overall it was a good buy.

The install process is easy. The photo is clear. thanks to the 2MP Camera. The video is full HD 1080P. The motion sensor is nice and it doesn’t get false alarms. The sounds are clear - 2-way audio noise cancellation. I mounted the camera to my door with 3M double-sided tape and I put more tape behind the mounting plate so it won’t not easy to take out the unit.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to use the Web cam part of this device, I am having trouble linking to my Alexa show, the door bell works though. Hopefully I will be able to utilize this device in it's full capacity real soon

I recently purchase this product and I'm pretty happy with it! The only down fall, it only works with 2.4G. So you will have to connect your mobile to that WI-FI setting. :-( I thought about sending it back but it does provide the visual security I wanted. So I would still say purchase one.

The Laview doorbell camera could be great. PROS: Rechargeable with USB cord; fairly easy to install after watching YouTube video; night vision is good; door chime is audible throughout the house CONS: Battery doesn't hold charge. I charged mine to 100% and it was down to 60% the next day; detects trucks on low setting and my house is not close to the road; does not capture image of person approaching the door from certain angles. Longer battery life and wider angle lenses would make this camera great!

Cons: The batteries were charged overnight to 100% but once the doorbell was installed the LaView App showed power was down to 78%! I double checked the level 8 hours later and it did maintain at that level —but I think it’s because I also connected the existing power connectors to the doorbell. Without the dual ways of keeping the doorbell charged, I would have to return this doorbell back and start all over to find a better doorbell. SO, this doorbell is NOT wireless. Status: 5 Days later the power level is down to 50% which means I’ll have to remove the doorbell and charge it with the USB wall plug-in repeatedly from now on every 5-7 days to keep it charged. NOT GOOD!! Pros: The separate, chime does work when the doorbell is rung and it has 4 different chimes to pick from.

What a wonderful pic! Day or night! Only drawback I’ve experienced is that the existing doorbell chime doesn’t come on when the doorbell is pushed. The camera is charging with the existing wiring and we can activate the doorbell by touching the wiring but it just won’t work thru the doorbell. It did come with a doorbell speaker thing so I am using that. It works great. I feel better knowing I have the doorbell camera. Not sure if I need to set the motion detection higher but sometimes there is a delay in the pic when the motion is detected. It alerts me but the pic is taken after they walked past or away. I probably just need to adjust my settings. I do recommend this.

Durable product, easy to set up and use. The only issue I had with the product was connecting it to my old chime. I ended up disconnection it and using the chime that came with the set. Their chime is just as loud as the old one we had. We also like how there is no monthly fee's attached. Video and sound very clear

Easy to install, detailed instructions and video instructions. Excellent application, easy to browse and adjust camera settings. There have been no false alarms caused by cars and/or trees. It only triggers when someone walks into our porch. Not only can you capture facial snapshots. You can use SD card or cloud service, which is very convenient and can keep a lot of videos

This far exceeded my expectations. I have a LaView indoor camera, and it works well, so I bought another doorbell camera, which is a great choice. Installation is easy, the camera's image quality is very good, and the night vision function is also fine. The portrait detection function saves me a lot of things. Every time someone walks in front of the camera, my phone will receive an alarm message, which makes me very satisfied. Highly recommend! ! !

I like this product very much, it is easy to install, the battery is durable, and it is easy to charge. The field of view is very wide, and the picture quality of 1080P is very clear. The video at night also has high-definition picture quality. Very recommended! I have bought the same type of product before, but the phone always receives useless alarm messages, which annoys me. But this product seems to be a portrait detection. Only when there is a face in front of the lens, it will send an alarm message to me. This is really satisfying. The two-way voice function is also very good. I can talk to the opposite person through my mobile phone, which makes our life more convenient.

Installation was very easy. It was very quick to follow the instructions. I was kind of expecting at least a couple hour project but it really only took about 10 minutes and most of that was walking up and down stairs to find my drill and a screw driver. The app works very well. Much easier than other systems I have installed. The tech keeps improving all he time. Motion detection is very good. I initially limited the detection zone like I did on other systems to prevent false positives. it seemed like it would not detect anything that wasn't 3 feet away. later I removed the zone and got really good results. Its smart enough to tell the difference between cars, people, and animals. I was very impressed with that part. They did a great job on the app software. I was also impressed at how quickly I can live view the video on my phone when I open the app.

I chose this doorbell because of its high resolution, aspect ratio and local storage. It is easy to install. The angle of view of the lens is very wide, and I can see everything in a very wide angle of view. I use Alexa, this product is also compatible with Alexa, which makes me very satisfied. What surprised me more is that this camera is different from others in that it can detect portraits, which means that I will not receive a lot of useless alarm messages. I will only receive an alarm when there is someone in front of the camera. Look It works well. I strongly recommend.

This doorbell camera works great! It was easy to connect to our router. It also has an amazing free app with lots of settings to customize for your needs. I figured out how to connect Alexa by following the steps in the Quick Start Guide. The instructions are simple and straightforward. Just linked the Laview on the Alexa app and discovered the Laview doorbell camera. Then I’m able to view it on my echo show. When I add the doorbell to my iPhone, I noticed that there is a’ Smart lock’ option on the product listing and I found there some smart locks in the app Mall. I’m going to purchase one to replace my old electrical bell. In this way, I can easily unlock the door via my phone instead of rushing to open the door when someone rings the doorbell. I liked the quality of the camera and I believe the smart lock won't disappoint me, too.

This is my first doorbell camera so I can't compare it with other brands. But for what I need, it seems to serve well, at least for now. The video camera looks solid and it has a waterproof design. According to the description of the product, it can withstand the heat, cold, rain or sun and it’s safe to be used outdoors as it’s equally resistant to dust ingress in all weather conditions. However, as a camera with an IP rating of 65, I think it’s better placed under shelter where it will not be exposed under too much moisture. The app was easy to install and set up. Although the video doorbell can be shared with family or friends, only the administrator can set the camera and the person who takes the sharing can only view the video. Meanwhile, only the administrator has the authorization to change the password, which prevents the video camera from being maliciously modified. The home owner can also remove other members if he or she wants to stop the sharing. This is a good choice if you need a reliable security video doorbell to keep your property safe.

I was always curious about Laview so finally decided to try one. Glad that I did! This has really been nice to add up to our house. The video quality of the camera is superb and the audio is impressive. Additionally, when someone triggers a motion alert the doorbell crops out their face and it appears in the notification on my phone. The motion detection is very sensitive as well, my mobile phone always receives alerts when the video doorbell detects animals, cars, people or other moving objects. I haven't done it but I think you can adjust the sensitivity of the motion if it annoys you. To test the ability of the unit to communicate while I’m away from the house I drove a few miles away and pulled up the video monitor on the bell. It was crystal clear and still allowed for communication from my iPhone. On the whole, I am extremely pleased with the video doorbell. I do not see any negatives to this unit currently and will update my review in the future if anything changes.

I like this camera because it's very smart. There is a PIR sensor in the front of the doorbell. The camera will automatically send an alarm to my phone When it detects someone or something is approaching the door. It's so convenient that I can check in anytime for a live video of my front door and its surroundings. At first, the doorbell batteries drain quickly so I ask the customer service staff if there is something wrong with the product. They told me I can change camera settings to solve the issue. I took their suggestions and now the battery works is noticeably longer. I enable the human body filtering feature option on the mobile app, the doorbell won’t be wakened up again when sometimes one small cat or pet dog is passing by. At the same time, I adjust the sensitivity of the camera to low, which can also reduce the power consumption and extend battery life. Overall, I feel good about this purchase and it makes me feel safer than before.

I’m am super excited about this doorbell. I was worried that it would be complicated to get it set up, but I was able to figure out most of it before even looking at the instructions. The doorbell has a high-capacity rechargeable battery which is 6700mAh, so I don't have to charge it frequently. I fully charged the camera before I mounted it near the front door. It is surprising that it still got 50% power after one month. I also like that it shows you how much battery is left in the app so you know when to recharge it The app is easy and simple as well, just download the Laview app, select a 2.4GHz network and scan the QR code and add the doorbell. It only took me less than 5 minutes to complete the setup. There are lots of features on the app, the most useful feature for me is I can view the camera even if I’m outside. I plan to buy another one for my parents. I guess they would like it, too.

The motion detection sensitivity makes the camera virtually unusable. I have to turn off motion otherwise I get false alerts every 10 minutes with even the wind blowing. I set PIR to low, I turned on the "human detection" filter - but the false alerts are so frequent I have to completely turn off detection which largely defeats the purpose of this camera. They either need to issue a new firmware update, or maybe I have a defective unit, or they need a software update that allows more fine grained sensitivity control or zone control.
