I am extremely satisfied with the doorbell camera. I purchased one wired doorbell camera to see how well or easy it was to install. My 15 year old son installed it! It was super easy! I got this on a bundle sale. I definitely think it is worth spending $50-60; but not $100. I first had a Ring camera and then an Arlo. I had to stop using the Ring camera because it was battery operated and did not work in the cold. I stopped using the Arlo camera because it would constantly miss motion captures. I already owned several Laview cameras so I decided to buy the doorbell since it was on sale. It does everything I need it to. It records 24/7 and you do not have to buy a cloud plan for it. It is very clear. Compared to the Arlo and Ring, I could not read license plates on those. On the Laview, I can. It also captures all motion very well and has a person mode only to avoid cars which also works well. It works well in the cold negative temperatures. The only negatives are: Unlike Ring and Arlo, you cannot set motion zones, so it captures everything. This isn't good for busy streets unless you have the people only function turned on. Night vision is good, but I think the lens cover over the camera interferes with video quality. When using night vision, the surrounding light reflects off of the imperfections on the plastic cover, causing some specs/blur. You get what you pay for in that regard. Sound - also not the best, but I rarely ever talk to anyone on my doorbell and do not need to hear what is going on outside. Another note about the Laview app. If you have multiple cameras, you can view all of them at once in a grid. However when you do so, it changes the cameras setting from HD to SD (I assume to save on bandwidth). So you have to change all of your cameras back to HD afterwards. Bottom line: this is a great low-cost doorbell camera for cold weather and free 24/7 recording. ——By Amazon Customer

The audio is the best I have used so far, no delay, no echo. It’s like having a conversation over the phone. I have to say this is the best part of this device IMO. Motion detection is fine, straightforward. It all depends on where the camera is located, I would assume. For me, it didn’t cause to many issues. The instructions were clear and straight forward. It comes with slot to install an SD card. I have not installed one on my unit. The great thing about this doorbell is that it’s not pay to use. You can view your photos and videos without paying a subscription. They do have a subscription option for those who are looking for cloud storage though. -The installation did take a while because this house did not have a doorbell installed prior.. If you had a doorbell installed before, it would be easy to install this doorbell. Con- Theres not a lot of room to edit the motion detection area, you can only increase the sensitivity. I have had some false positives. For example, if a car is parked in from of my house for more than a few minutes, I would receive a notification. This is great when its UPS, USPS, or Amazon as 9/10 they are making a delivery to my house. Aside from that it can get annoying. If you live in a busy street, you will have a lot of notification. Sometimes the app hangs and freeze when the doorbell ring. This doesn’t happen all the time but it does happen. When the doorbell ring, the notification pops up on the phone but it will not let me view the video and talk to the guest. I would have to close the app and re-open it. Overall- The laview doorbell was from Newegg and from a seller on Newegg. The one I purchased did not come with a chime like this version here, I used my google speaker to connect to the doorbell and it worked great. This is my first video doorbell, but while doing research on other video doorbells prior to making this purchase, people complained as the audio quality is not great for their name brand devices. App is great to use, simple and easy. Cant beat the price. Camera is great, smooth and clear. I would recommend this to a friend. ——By Amazon Customer

I have 2 of these now as my front door bells, 1 on my main house and 1 on my vacation home. I'm quite happy with them. I love that you can connect to them from anywhere and see past events/motion in front of them. I have been able to see past events from 5 months ago (when I first brought home my new puppy) and all for free with the local microSD card! At first I purchased a Ring and one (older model) LaView to compare their performance. The LaView was a lot easier to use and outperformed the Ring, although I never activated the Ring's cloud storage. And of course Ring doesn't offer free local storage. I've since replaced the Ring with an LaView model. I also have a battery powered version on my elderly mom's house and another older model on my side door. ——By Amazon Customer

I am a professional 1st class firefighter and having cloth/silver being allow to use. Please let me give you the fact of cloth wiring. 100% is cause from the 200yr old cloth wiring has been banned in A Z yet here you can use it. But please try to understand AZ reason we do not allow a 3 foot fence because it dangerous to Fireman yet 200 year old cloth wired is banned. Another thing to consider AZ Fireman the reason it only 3 feet they can climb over average time 1- 3 minutes. Since in Chicago ot is banned a concrete wall the firefighter must me able to run through not stop and keep going speed average height 10 feet my 4 by 3 smashed though in 1 - 2 minutes or you are no longer a truckman on rescue you play with your hose the water until you learn to be a real Fireman or get the boot. There are 8 physical test when I tried I broke 6out of the 8 record which I think I still hold. Chicago is no training ifsta. International firefighter training program so if you get flown to Germany they fly here we are all train the same. Capt can I give my self a plug. I am a hero Fireman. It was an arson fire the first bomb blew off my face and God gave an angel to restorers it. Day my everything in my throat was gone. I woke up crying from pain and started to become hostile. The angel touched my lips and I was fast asleep. The doctors call the Governor Big Jim Tomson I was not service. I was literally his personal body guard. Omg he is loud. Quote...get him another shot get the doctors here. Within 5 minutes my entire staff was taking my vital. I sorta learn are his massive are and ask who did I kill. He was laughing so hard he dripped a little. But I got out of bed. Stood in front start to talk to him but he knew I want a pain killer. He explained to say their for big Jim but he tossed them at my bud. Big Jim believe youvthis gets louder by he minutes unsteady of just getting them now. Well my point the door bell has a transformer which can kill you. My verdict is hire a professional to install. Or do all steps until no transformer. Only a porfessional licensed electrician is able to do it correctly. If you see a electrical truck with I electrical lunscence seen me information. His truck he lost he his will not be allowed to bid on his truck he lost it. I am in charge of licensing for all forms to gave correct ticket God bless AZ

I have just purchased a LV-DB5 directly from LaView store, the device isn't presenting a hotspot for configuration nor does it have a qcr for ezmode. I have been playing email tag with support for days which is just a waste of time. Their tech support is lacking.

Very easy to install, it may have taken 30 minutes to install and set up. Clear video night and day, wide angle covers a large area. Don’t waste your money buying a name. LaView sells high quality products, all of my security cameras work great.

We quite like this little wonder. Its size is perfect for a typical wood-trimmed door (with sidelight) verses it’s main competitor (whom I shall not name … but rhymes with “ding”). At first we had that ding-rhyming doorbell, but it’s size was much too big/wide for our door trim, and its “issues” were legion; so we returned it for LaView’s sleeker doorbell. The LaView is not without its problems, as others have noted, so I won’t belabor the point. However, for us, the overall performance has been positive; made more so by LaView’s patient customer service. In fact, contrary to several previous reviewers, we found customer service to be very prompt and motivated to assist us with questions/concerns. Quite refreshing actually! We’ve had a LaView doorbell adorning our humble abode for about nine months now and couldn’t be more satisfied. The accompanying app politely alerts us to visitors (which is handy when we’re out of earshot of our doorbell chime). We can view who is at the door and decide whether they are friend or foe (dastardly sales persons who ignore our Do Not Disturb sign). And we can converse with those at the door from the comfort of our couch on those days when we’re lazy wee buggers. It’s made our lives much simpler really. Overall, it’s just a fun little addition which has enhanced the “ambiance” of our otherwise boring front door. In summary: we would have no qualms recommending LaView’s doorbell to one and all (and have done so with several relatives!). So, if you’re looking to enhance your abode’s exterior, plus add an addition measure of safety to your home, you can’t go wrong starting with this little beast. [For those who may be wondering: we have not been paid for this enlightening review; nor are we in any way affiliated with LaView, it’s employees or representatives. I've installed this Laview doorbell in Oct2020. It has been working great since then... EXCEPT the internal SD card went offline recently. Maybe the fault was solely attributable to the SD card itself? Anyway, full functionality resumed after installing a new card. Surprisingly, in the interim the doorbell continued to detect visitors --- and send notifications and snapshots to my phone. I am very happy with this item. I should note that there may be a 2~8 second lag time before receiving notification of an approaching visitor. BUT - that is a non-issue if the doorbell is pressed... causing an immediate "chime".

I have to say that This doorbell is awesome! I have been looking for a camera doorbell for a wile and I decide that this one deserves a try, and I’m really happy that I did that choice! Is realy easy to install and the app is so nice and smooth! The cámara have great quality and rage! Even the nocturnal mode have a great view and I really liked! So give it a try, because is totally worth it!

Working as advertised

Human body filter is not good enough. Too many false alarms from trees shaken by wind. No ability to record only when needed (on triggered alarm). Even when setup says "event recording" it records non stop...

Five stars for sure! Although those is my first doorbell camera, I love all the features I got for the price! Packaging was neat and the product came undamaged. The instructions were simple and it was easy to install. Just turned off power, removed the old doorbell and used the existing wiring for the the one. The product was also easy to get online with the free app. I don't pay for the cloud service because the 4 days of video saved in the included memory card is enough for me. Things that I love about the doorbell: it only detects hum motion in front of my door and nothing else. It gives me a push notification and take a still image of the person who is usually delivering a package so gone fast. It sends almost a telephone call like notifications to your phone when someone rings the doorbell and rings the normal doorbell. I love that the app works away from home with no issues and I no longer have to check my door every time the dogs bark at it. I know someone is there when I get a notification now!

I like this doorbell video camera, it works perfectly at night even with a low light reflection. The recording quality is high and good even in the dark and it can record many feet away.

I saw Wi-Fi and didn't stop to think about actual wiring. This doorbell requires hardwiring. I thought I had that, but opened my previous doorbell's panel to see that it was battery powered... I uninstalled that one entirely to find wires in the door frame. AWESOME! But then my multi-meter said there was nothing there. After trying really hard to find the doorbell transformer, we found the wiring went to a dead end. There is no way to hook this doorbell up without power - no batteries, no charging, nothing. Now unless I spend almost $1,000 to have an electrician deal with installing the necessary wiring, it's useless. Needless to say, we will be choosing another doorbell. I wish I had seen that more clearly, but for something that has such awesome tech supposedly built in, it seems short sighted to have no battery feature or other power option besides being hardwired directly. I'm super bummed. Make sure you have wiring in place, that the wiring is functional, and that you're willing to have it set up that way and only that way. I also gave 3 stars because the app would NOT work on my phone no matter how many times I installed it. Given that I couldn't get that to work, it didn't make me want to entertain the electrical expense.

Super easy to install and set up. They include everything you might possibly need for installation including the angled mounting adapter and 2 sets of jump wires just in case your current wires aren't long enough. ***If replacing an older bell here's the only issue I had.*** I replaced an existing doorbell installed in the late 80's early 90's and the power transformer was not adequate enough to power the doorbell and connect to the wifi. I thought at first it was a wifi issue but was able to use the built in micro USB port to power the doorbell while standing next to where it would be installed and the connection issue was resolved. I eventually found that the old doorbell was an 8v system and you'll need 12-24v. Most transformers are are capable of being setup multiple ways too meet the needs however mine was not. I also love that it will work with the Tuya app and I don't have keep up with another app.

Bottom Line: It works well. Wiring was easy (and safe - it's Human Safe voltages). Included was an "optional" chime attachment - no explanation given - which I installed as well. I think it's a surge protection device for solenoid back kick voltages. On the doorbell button end, just replace your button with the Video Doorbell camera. Software setup was easy (even though I had poor WiFi coverage at the chosen door). The directions given ask you to look at what the ring around the button is indicating by it's blinking light color. You can't see it in direct sunlight, so do it under shade or in the evening. LOVE the QR code read setup - it's a snap!! When you push the button, a nice local chime rings (and your photo is taken). My normal doorbell height mounting gives me photos of folk's chests, not their faces. You might want to put it a bit higher or tilt it upwards. Nice resolution photos & videos. Watching live on Google Home devices has quite a lag to it - like 15 seconds. Price is great for the functionality.

I love this. It was easy to install. I had it installed and working in less than an hour. The camera is crystal clear. I get immediate alerts when someone is standing on my front stoop. I can adjust the sensitivity so that it catches movement far away. I had it on medium and it kept going off every time a car drove my on the road which is probably 30 feet away. The features on the add are perfect. It takes a picture that you can delete. And you don't need the cloud storage because there is a spot for an sd card. I have had this for about two weeks now and the only problem I have had is when I try and talk through my phone. If I am away from my house, it does not work well. I can still see the person and it takes a picture but they don't seem to hear me when I talk. I can hear them. It may be an issue with the phone or service. Regardless this is amazing and I have been telling all my friends to get one.

I like this doorbell. I installed it myself and the installation was very simple. There are 2 wires - doesn't matter which connects to where...they just both need to connect. UPDATE! I love getting updates each time someone is at my door. It is a setting you control. I am away and can see each delivery, visitor, etc. Look at the span of this shot!! Put on the plate, connect the wires, snap in the actual unit and it starts looking for the app. Pull the cover off the chime, connect the white block that came with this, two wires that connect to TRANS and Front (or back depending on where your device is installed). stick the box someplace within the chime frame and put the cover back on. Download the App that is called LaView. I did the automatic connection and it found it quickly. It found another non-laview device that was polling so out of curiosity, I connected them both. I had fantastic pictures from my doorbell the second it connected! They are clear and really great range of view. It also let me manage the other device. Pretty cool. I am super happy with this device and absolutely recommend it!!!

My old doorbell is not on the same wall as the door, but is on a side wall facing the side of whoever is at the door. With the installation, there is an optional piece that angles the doorbell a little bit more towards the front. It doesn't seem like much, but with the wide-angle, it gives a very good view of whoever is at the door. It also has the option of using the wired ringer from the old unit and all I had to do was attach a separate piece to the bell. Once I installed it, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to get it connected. So when someone rings the doorbell, it rings the original bell in the house. Originally, I had some problems with a poor connection due to the distance of my router from the front door. The video and sound were choppy and lagged a fair amount. I adjusted my router position and the problem was solved. I now get smooth, non-lagged video and sound. The app shows the signal strength and it was originally under 50%, with the adjustments it is over 80%. Having good wifi coverage at the front door is important. The app itself is very important to the usefulness of the doorbell and this one seems to do a decent job. I have mine set up to record only motion detected events, but you can also set it to record full-time. Every time someone shows up at the front door, I get notified and I have a list of events showing a photo of who is at the door. I can also go back and look at the video of the event. There is also an option to talk with the person at the door and can be done remotely as well. The night vision works well. I was impressed of how clear the picture at night was. The unit comes with a 32 GB storage card that can store several days or weeks worth of data if you do 'event recording'. If you do full time recording it will maybe do a day's worth in HD and much more if you record in SD mode. There is also an option to store your data on the cloud for a fee.

This was quite easy to install, aside from the fact that one of the included screws was too short. It began alerts right away, and was up and running in minutes.

If you watch the installation/set up video, there's absolutely no mention whatsoever of the need for a usb cable running through your wall or the need of a power outlet on your wall to connect this to. No usb cable or means of electrical power is provided. You must pay an electrician a couple of hundreds of dollars to run cable through your wall to provide power for a mini-usb port on the item, regardless if you already had any previous mechanical chime or ring bell installed. I am disappointed in the limited description of the item installation. The installation almost sounds it like as lie or misinformation (on purpose).

I bought LaView WiFi cameras and they have been so great, I've been observing when they came out with a video doorbell. I just installed the DB5 doorbell camera. The installation is a piece of cake. The voltage requirement is 16-24VAC, which is very common in most house doorbell wiring. It is hardwired, but I was able to connect it myself. I just followed the instruction video on YouTube. I switched the old doorbell off and left the new one on. The app is so simple and intuitive. The camera gives me a notification when it detects movements. The notification allows you to click on the thumbnail to see what triggered it and there is also a ‘VIEW’ option in the message. If you click on it, you would probably think it would jump to the 20-30 second video clip. However, it only redirects you to the playback function. You have to scroll the timeline bar to view the corresponding video. I'm hopeful that a firmware upgrade will improve this. Overall, it is an excellent product for the price.

I was very excited when i purchased the device with a great price. I’m happy with its performance and features. It has everything:1080P HD video, AI human detection, two-way audio, night vision, cloud storage, and great app to manage it. I highly recommend this doorbell cam...a high-quality product with a reasonable price.

This doorbell is terrific! I can't speak highly of it enough. I looked so many doorbells and chose this one when I was looking for a video doorbell to install in my old house. I'm so glad I did. It's a simple installation and may took 20 minutes or so. The app is super user-friendly as well. The human detection works great and doesn’t give me any false alarms. The video quality is fantastic, and the fact that it holds everything locally is amazing.

After 2 months of using, we are satisfied with the results. This doorbell works very well and the signal rarely breaks. Although the resolution is only 1080P, the quality of the video is good. we also love cloud storage so we don't need to purchase an additional SD card to save the videos. Moreover, you can ask members of your family to get the app and share the device with them. The app would push a notification on your phone when anyone rings the doorbell.

Installation was much simpler than I expected. My husband did all the setup and connected it to our wireless network to see people approaching the door. We can view outside of my house simply through a smartphone installed with the LaView app. The features and ease of use make this one the best, plus the price works for its favor too. The only downside is that there a slight bit of a latency but I feel like most doorbell cameras are anyway. Happy with our purchase would recommend it to my friend.

The white chime that came with the doorbell didn’t work though the printed instructions say it’s “Optional” so even without it the doorbell would NOT produce a bell sound. Chatted with LaView’s tech support and they could not explain why it wasn’t working either; therefore, I returned the item to purchase LaView’s wireless, battery operating doorbell which does come with a chime box.

I like the product but the doorbell doesn’t ring inside the house. Only rings on outside.

Playback lags little like it freezes then speeds up to catch up. But it works fine.

I am very impressed at the picture quality and sound on this product. Very happy with it!

It's a great camera but when it gets booted off the network you have to reset it somehow and in order to do that you either have to lose power which means disconnecting it from the doorbell Transformer or taking it off the mount and hitting the reset button is the only ways that I have been able to find a reset it other than that I haven't had one issue with camera

It is easy to install. It is well connected to the original old doorbell to enhance the advanced functions. It works with mobile phones to protect the safety of the door 24 hours a day.

The product is good, not five start just because the two small screws are to short to hold the bracket that hold the camera if you use the angular with them,had to find two longer ones. Otherwise will be 5 stars.

Very nice camera for the cost. I put 4 stars because I know there are better ones but honestly for the cost this is the best I have seen and there is no need for a monthly subscription like some other brands.

I have been using this for several months now and I like the push notifications when motion is detected or when the doorbell rings. I have also configured it to announce the doorbell on all of the Alexa's in the house since our doorbell cannot be heard throughout the house. I will say the app has a couple of bugs but nothing that has been a deal breaker. Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to show the live feed (even with a strong wifi signal) but it almost always works the second try. I did not dock it any stars for the bugs because the core functions of the camera work fine and there have not been any stability issues. I would say this is excellent for the money and can easily compete against the nest and others in the much more expensive price range.

This is my second LaView doorbell. This is a 1080p doorbell. What surprised me the most was its wide angle and wide field of view. Setting up is a breeze. No problem connecting to my wifi. I have been looking for a doorbell camera. After comparing with other products, I chose LaView, which is very worthwhile. The picture quality is very good, and I saw the video clearly. And what I am most satisfied with is that it does not send a lot of alarm videos. I will receive the notification message when it meets someone. This is really shocking. The installation is very simple, and there is almost no trouble afterwards. I am very satisfied with this purchase. We are very satisfied with our doorbell camera . We are Senior Citizens living in a single house. Previously, on 2 different occasions, we have had someone come to our door in the middle of the night. It was frightening. Now, we can stay in the safety of our bedroom and be able to see who is at our door -- and be able to converse with them. Also we can respond to someone at our door when we are not home. It is amazing. The Scope and Clarity is excellent.

Love it. Wasn’t sure which doorbell camera to get at first, but I ended up going with this one because of a sale that was on amazon, and I’m glad I did. Simple to use, I installed it myself (bit of sweat and effort but it was a hot day!) and it was pretty easy. The LaView app is easy to use and the device itself is great. I think other versions of the ring doorbell may have better quality, but with that being said, it still does the job and works amazing for what it’s meant for. I can see everything I need to see even wide angles, I do recommend.

I do not regret this purchase at all. Installation was very simple, instructions on how to tie ring in with your Alexa app, also very simple. I have my settings to less sensitive on what it picks up, occasionally I’ll get some cars passing by but I’m ok with that. I purchased the ring cloud to record and view past recordings. I just can’t see how I went this long without it! Peace of mind is definitely there. I will purchase more items for my home.

Kudos to the LaView team for producing a device that is quick and easy to install and set up. They have clearly designed this with the customer experience in mind. I purchased one for the back door to test and the second one a week later based on the results. Installation was very simple, in my case,Looks great. Clean and modern. Once installed, the pairing with the LaView App on my iPhone was a snap. Configuring range and distance was also very easy. From opening the box to going live took under 30 mins. Now at any time, I can open the Laview app and stream live from my back and front doors which gives my wife and teenagers a sense of security particularly when I am away. I rarely take the time to write a recommendation but feel the engineering team at LaView deserves a shout out for this one.

We've had our a couple weeks now. It was easy to set up, the camera quality is impressive, and the motion detection bring us peace of mind. We live out in the country and we were getting word that thieves were targeting our rural area since we're known to leave our doors unlocked (I mean, they're not wrong). We absolutely love it, even though we haven't had any exciting action other than my old Pyrenees dog waddling across the camera 45 times a day. We had a good snowfall in Oct. and when we went out to play in it I realized I had forgotten my phone inside. I was able to pull Laview camera footage of us goofing around in the snow. It was sweet. We also witnessed our nice FedEx guy cuddling with our dog and giving her treats.

In addition to the doorbell feature, this product also includes motion detection. You can even set certain areas within the camera's view to NOT trigger motion detection (for example, a view corridor facing a busy street). The software that comes with the product has lots of options for how many notifications you want to get, who else can get notifications, and much more. They are selling a nifty piece of hardware, but the software that you get for no additional charge is a very nice bonus.

This is a top notch camera. You get what you pay for! The app is very easy to use. You can quickly and easily see who is at the door no matter where you are. I wish it was compatible with my Laview smart lock, but I was able to connect the two through Alexa and check the camera then unlock the door conveniently. The picture quality is amazing, and it records even when you don’t answer so you can go back and see when someone was near your door or knocks on it.

We bought this latest (this is our 3rd) Video Doorbell because we bought a new house and left our old one for the person buying our house. I wouldn't be without one. We have one at our primary residence and now our second home. If you are away a lot, or in our case, a second home, this doorbell is almost required. Anyone that walks up to your door, be it the Amazon delivery person or someone casing your house, you will see them CLEARLY. And you can even talk to them if you want to. The app on your phone alerts you when someone has approached, and it records it. When you're several hundred miles away, this is invaluable.

I am satisfied with our doorbell camera. This is our first purchase at Laview, so I am not familiar with products that compare with other varieties or generations. We installed the Laview doorbell next to a set of stairs. It seems that the handrail just blocked the camera. The camera can't really detect it until someone is facing the camera correctly. By the time the actual video is triggered, about half of the activity is actually missed before someone enters the front door. Their night vision capabilities are very good, and clear pictures can be seen at night. Especially the camera has a very wide field of view, which allows me to learn more. I am very satisfied with our purchase and will definitely recommend this product in the future.

Installed easily, configuration was easy providing you only have a 2.4ghz SSID and works like a champ. Product works well with the app on my phone and is easily viewable via my Echo Show. Size is a bit bulky, night vision is only so so, WFi setup is touchy and Range to WiFi is only so so. Configuration options are plentiful and compliment the product. I've installed these for family and friends and highly recommend them for a big savings over there cloud based solutions with subscriptions.

So, I wanted to buy a camera which has all the features like Ring Doorbell camera, BUT, has local storage. So I don't have to pay monthly fees. And I bought this camera just to see how it works. My first impression was not so good. I thought this is one of the products where you feel, "you get what you pay". The main issue I faced was it was not able to connect to my WIFI and it wasn't working properly. The reason was, it would not work without SD Card. As soon as I inserted SD Card, it started working. And after that, I didn't see any issue at all. Great picture quality and motion sensor is very accurate. One of the best things I like about this is, when it detects motion it will start recording before a few seconds and not from the point of the motion sensor. Usually camera sense something and then it will start recording. So you lose a few seconds of motion. But not sure how the logic setup in this camera software, it must be recording continuous and only store clip when it detect motion sensor. So it won't fill my SD card and only store motion sensor video which I want. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to buy a camera with local storage so you don't have to pay monthly fees.

This camera doorbell is so awesome. First, the installation isn’t that hard, easier then I thought, just follow the instructions. And the picture is clear, the audio is good. I can check my package with this camera doorbell when I’m not home. Give the instructions to the deliver men. And knowing who is in front of my house. (PS: my neighbors says there’s a package theft around in the community, that’s the reason I’m getting this.) All I need to do is check on my phone. This technology, this product, is so awesome. I love it.

I really like this doorbell. Packaging was neat and the product came undamaged. Very easy to install and works wonderfully. It's easy to use, with high recognition, good sensitivity, and the machine's appearance design is also very beautiful. The product was also easy to get online with the free app. Wide angle view, excellent picture quality, good audio. It sends almost a telephone call like notifications to your phone when someone rings the doorbell and rings the normal doorbell. Works great especially when I am upstairs and can't run downstairs all the way to the door to see who is outside. So give it a try, because is totally worth it!

An absolute must-have for every home. It has plenty of options, the picture is clear, and even the night vision is of good quality. I like that it can also be shared with other people in the home. It’s great to be able to see what’s going on when I’m not home as well. Works well with smartphones and Alexa. Great for monitoring package delivery...keeping records of nosey people, landscapers, or even just seeing who's knocking if your neighbor’s upstairs are coming or something. As for me, I already had a wired doorbell with a mechanical chime, so if you already have one you don't necessarily have to buy a chime to work with it, we use it so we can hear it in the laundry room or when I'm in the garage. Overall，I am extremely satisfied with this product and will continue to use it forever I'm sure!

I am super impressed by this doorbell. Not only is it affordable, but the quality and texture of this unit are quite superior. The HD 1080P resolution has an amazing quality, great angel of view, and still gives a high-quality picture in low light scene. It has to be almost completely dark for the night vision feature beyond need. The doorbell does everything as the manufacturers says. I’m gonna say that someone would have to work very hard to steal the camera because it mounts sturdy. Setting up the App to the camera and the door chime was very easy. And the most amazing part I just found out is after heavy rain for the whole night，this doorbell is still functional in perfect condition. This doorbell has so many unique features that they have dropped their competitors far behind. I highly recommend this HD video doorbell. It really is "Top Notch".

I am a savvy person but don't want to spend too much money. Since the pandemic, I have been looking for a decent device to make my home safer and life easier, of course, an affordable price. I have installed it for a while and have been holding my view since I want to see how it works out in a couple of weeks. I must tell you, so far, I am very happy!!! You can see the view angle is super wide, after I read through the instruction, found it is 140degree, what!!! that's impressive. Almost cover from the left side of the door to the right side of the door. nobody can hide from my inspection now! Also, the two-way audio and human detection function are amazing, before I installed this product，the postman always throw my delivery package without a word，but after I installed this，my app will send me a notification when they come and I can ask him to wait and take the package face to face.

This is my first doorbell with a camera. I have no experience with doorbells that seemed to be the product of industry. I bought this one for its local storage and encryption of videos. I already have a 128GB memory card and I'm glad that it could be used on this product directly. Compared with the cloud service I would like to choose solid storage for my data privacy. So far, I love it! It does exactly what it advertises and works well. I’d prefer some Home Kit integration but it isn’t a deal-breaker for me. Few motion detection false reports and I have solved them by adjusting sensitivity intensity. My doorbell mounting location faces towards my door instead of the street so I used the included wedge. The wedge was 15 degrees and didn’t help a lot but I reached for tech support and they sent me two extra wedges for free. One extra did the trick for my situation and thanks to their support team for quick responding. Highly recommend this doorbell if you care for your privacy and want to avoid monthly cloud storage fees from other guys!!

I was very excited to receive this ring doorbell and to be honest, I’m not that savvy, but fairly handy. Set up is easy, the installation is easy. All you need to do is simply follow the user manual. If you are wiring into an existing doorbell connection, yes the old doorbell wires keep the battery charged and keep it running. You only have to do the initial install charge. And you don't need to worry about the power supply cuz it works with an adaptor. And it gets a better resolution: The 1080p video is noticeably better than my older 720p one Also, the view angle of my older one restricted the vision, so the ultra-wide angle for this product is a big selling point for me. And it works with Alexa, which is more convenient for me to do is only by giving a voice command would I see the live view of front of my door. Overall, I'm highly recommended this product.
