Overall love this floodgate camera, really bright and works great. However the motion detection is a tad bit delayed so if you're relying on this for light it might not kick in until you're about halfway into the frame. Otherwise everything works wonderful. After finally modifying the mounting bracket sufficiently to allow this installation to work with my existing junction box, the camera itself has worked great. The install method provided would not have been water tight nor would it have worked at all with my stucco sided home. The motion detection is not as configurable as the leading camera product, but it seems to work well. The dimmable lights are a nice touch that I wasn't expecting. Camera image quality and network connectivity has been top notch. Setup was a breeze. Siren is sireny. The instructions were easy to follow. Has a great picture. Setup was a breeze.

The light is pretty bright,and the picture is pretty good. The camera is able to pivot but not as far down as I want it to.

Night vision is good, always capture all kinds of small animals, rabbits, skunks, etc. The floodlight is so bright, but sadly it cannot be replaced.

Product easy to install. Works great. Better pricepoint. Works with phone and alexa show.

Covers my house and front doors perfectly. i may need to get a second one for the backyard area as well

This light & camera are really good. The motion sensors work great & the cameras look very good.

Seems to be ok. Videos aren’t as clear as I thought they’d be but for the price I shouldn’t be complaining. There is a long delay between when the motion sensor is triggered and the feed comes back to my phone. As this is my first security camera and I don’t seem to be having any major issues, I’m happy with my purchase so far.

Underwhelming performance. The motion detection works fine the PIR not so great and the flood light or siren neither one comes on within the text motion. I've tried all the different settings and still have not been able to get it to work. This is my second one I sent the first one back because I thought something was wrong with it but yet the second one is doing the same thing.

I've had several different LaView products so far, from the doorbell camera, and the stick-up cams, over all I’m pleased with the function and support provided by the company with their products. I purchased 4 of these floodlight cams to replace the stick up cams of my property. The viewing angle and the video quality is superb, the installation and setup was quite easy and together with my reliable Netgear orbi's which covers my property with wifi, the video stream is of great quality. Voice quality of the speaker is loud and clear, the spotlights are bright to do their job at night. The siren is loud enough, but I'll have to confess, I thought it could be louder. Night image quality is very good and the notifications comes right up to my smart phone when the PIR detection is triggered. I highly recommend this product and it gives what you just need. (good wifi signal, a capable internet connection and a good mounting position to bring out the best of its field of sight.)

Purchased this for my house, I had a light in the back garage but it broke off after I installed a new fence. I not only decided to move the light but also added some security cameras. The LaView FL6 Floodlight performed better than I expected, the image is clear and the alerts are instant. It rarely gives you false alarms unless you have it setup with larger area. Quick to install, my installation was a little more difficult because I had to move the power cable. If you're mounting it under an eave, it can be difficult to get the camera with the right angle. Lucky for me my drive way sits at an angle away from the house so it was easy to mount under the eave. I've been using it for a while now without any issues, configuration was easy but you should know that the ease and functionality is only as good as your WiFi signal, I built another WIFI direct on my network to cancel the distance interference from my router to the garage. Remember when you set up this device it probably isn't the quality of the device but the signal of your WiFi. I don’t remember this is any drop. This is my second LaView device and I'm loving the peace and security that comes with them.

Perfect for piece of mind I now have the LaView Doorbell, a Baby camera and a Floodlight installed in my house. The installation instructions were clear, all materials provided was easily installed. They diagnosed the issue (which was due to a lesser optimal WiFi signal so not a problem with the LaView product) and helped me learn ways to enhance the Wifi signal to the device. I would never say positive aspects about my experience with Ring products and services.

Works great, easy installation I have the flood light camera for two months and so far, it’s great. The light is mounted above my garage and higher than the recommended range to the ground, but the image quality is still clear. And even though my wireless router is in my basement, it still gets a good WiFi signal. I no longer had unexpected visitors trying to break into my garage or house after I got the camera, but it did help me catch a trespasser who clipped roses in my rose farm. The installation was a breeze. If you’re able to install a new light fixture in your house you’ll be able to install this. The motion sensor light works great and illuminates the surroundings without blinding my neighbors. I don’t have any technical difficulties or problems with this light or my LaView doorbell cam. And the only contact I had with LaView support staff was about a billing issue, which they resolved quickly. If everything goes green, once my home’s existing security system contract is finished, I plan to transit all my home security to LaView.

Nothing to complain. Super easy to install. Had it mounted in about 30-40mins. Easy setup with the app. More so if you are already savvy tech person. And nice clear picture. Especially if your WiFi connection is good. If you experience low WiFi signal or poor image quality I would highly recommend some WiFi enhancer. Both with the one with flood light on and the other with it off are clear at night. Which is just fine when you need it to. Would highly recommend this to any and every one looking to buy.

I just received this FL6 outdoor floodlight security camera and I'm going to install it under the eave and monitor the front yard. I saw an SD card slot at the bottom of the camera. This means the camera supports physical storage. According to the description of the manual, it supports up to 128GB of space. When I connect the camera to the mobile app, I also noticed that there is a cloud storage service for the camera, and the price is decent. I’m still wondering which routine I should choose, purchase an SD card or do a subscription. Though the app is very easy to use, it has many practical features. Like screenshot, recording, and playback etc. My most favorite function is device sharing. I can add 20 family members or friends at most to my camera. That’s pretty cool!

A nice camera. I bought it and have been using it for a week, everything is perfect. I set it to monitor my backdoor, which is a bit far away from the inside. The weather is getting extremely cold these days, I don’t have to go out and check who’s knocking my door, I can see everything by the app. The image is with crystal clear in the day and black and white at night, which is enough for me. And the light doesn’t interfere the vision. I can even observe things 30 feet away at night, that’s amazing! For my privacy, I also subscribed cloud service, my last camera lost all footage cuz I saved everything to SD card. Hopefully the same thing won’t happen on me again. Anyway, I love this camera, I will keep following laview’s products and would love to try new stuffs. Will definitely buy again!

My wife is pregnant for 16 weeks. She becomes way more sensitive than before. she is sensitive to any noise. I believe an outside camera would help to calm her, and turned out it worked. She was happy to have the camera, I installed it immediately. She was quite hesitant about where to put the camera and finally decided to put it facing the gate. The installation was simple and didn’t take much time. But I should have done that after connecting it to my wife’s phone… We had a little problem with the router setting. It worked after we close 5g signal transmission. She can now view the camera on her phone, the app will alarm her if there’s any movement outside.

Bought 5 laview cameras already. I bought this camera for my new garden, which was totally a mess. After the setting up, I could see it clear. The box is marked with 1080P and 120 degrees wide angle, I guess that’s a decent resolution. It was raining and freezing last night, I opened the app and found that it was still working perfectly. The pic was still clear enough to see the surroundings. But I was still worried about it. So, I contacted customer service of LaView and was told that the camera is ip54 water resistant, and can bear extreme temperature, which made me released. A nice camera, thanks to Laview.
