this covers a wide area and i like that. motion detections is good, and it's nice for being nosey. the battery definitely won't last the whole time it started considering i've not had it plugged up a month and it's at 70, but that's not necessarily a concern for me.

I bought this camera to monitor backyard of my house. I have tried several brands but liked this camera the best. Battery life is about 3 weeks to a month depending on how heavy the camera is used. The camera is wireless so no messy cables to drag around. The image is clear and response time is pretty good. I can monitor my house real time through the phone app or review recordings later. Camera is easy to install. It allows to point camera at any angle. Camera has a wide view angle so it catches a large areas. Would recommend this product.

I left a message, questioning if there’s another way to view my cameras on my laptop. I got replied e-mail next day with the answer yes. This camera allows me to create a family on the app, and invite my parents in, they can see me through the camera on their phones. I could receive over 100 notifications per day. This really drives me mad, I had to switch my phone to vibrate mode to keep quiet. Soon I give it up, and started to look for a new camera. Laview saved my ears. I’m satisfied with the varies functions. It will only alarm when people pass by, then it takes notes in history and record it by itself. I’ve checked the videos, the pic was clear enough in daytime and night. I was wondering if the camera can miss any suspicious people. Then I was told that the sensitivity can be altered. I tried the highest level of sensitivity and it was great. I do get a bit more alarms now. Although most of time it was just a strange passenger, but that’s fine, a short video won’t take too much on SD card, besides, I’ve also subscribed the cloud storage. $9 for each month, no more worries of losing my videos, well, that’s fair enough. So far everything is going alright.

She told me her parents’ stuffs are missing, so I bought this camera to see if anyone sneaks around her house. The town where she lives is crowded. Teenagers are crazy, doing stupid things. So I think it might be some kids who broke in their house and bullied two old poor parents. The camera is set at the front door, another old camera has been working for a long time, keeps sending notifications to my gf’s phone and the recorded videos are too many. However, Laview camera perfectly solved this issue. The motion and human detectives reduced the alarms. Me and my gf can only get notification when someone gets in and we can check the recorded videos anytime. This design is much considerable for us. There’s a SD card inside when we received the camera, I think it’s quite enough for our using, but the camera also supports cloud storage. We will subscribe it if need. We’ve tried the monthly free experience cloud service. It was great, we can still view our videos when SD card is gone or damaged cuz everything is saved at cloud storage. I’m having good time with this product, and the price worth it.

What made me worried was the set up, I don’t have bones of playing jigsaw, I thought it would be complicated to finish setting up but actually it was not. All I had to do was to take care of the screws with the bracket. The magnet applied the camera to the bracket with no gaps. It took a lot strength to take it off, so it’s rather safe to hang it there, no worries of falling down. I set it up at my back door, facing my yard. The wide angle allows me to see my neighbor’s yard, whose owner is a handsome gentleman. He is way so cute that I feel shy when I see him. Not only can this camera alarm me when someone breaks in, but also reminding me when the gentle is at the yard. I hope someday I can be brave enough to chat him and tell him how I feel… The battery of the camera is fine, it can support me keep watching what he is doing for hours. I really like this idea of a wireless security camera. This camera comes with two mounts. A hard mount that screws into the unit and a magnetic dome mount. The great thing about the magnetic mount is you can easily pull down the camera to recharge it when needed. The magnet is strong and holds well. You can position the camera in almost any angle as it swivels on the dome. You can place the camera flat on a counter and have it plugged in for charging. You can actually use the camera like this as well and not run out of power. The plug and memory card is accessed from the back, not the bottom of the unit. It comes with a 32GB memory card too which is excellent. Motion sensor has a delayed reaction to record. This could be my connection according to the FAQ but I don't know about that. You have two detection alarm settings. Activity Area and Human Body Filtering. I could not get Activity Area to stay on, it would error and remain OFF. Human Body Filtering will basically attempt to start recording for only larger objects and ignores movement from trees etc. However, there were times when I could walk in front of the camera and it would not record. I turn off the filtering and now it records at the slightest movement. I don't mind that. It will send notification alerts each time it starts to record. It does not have loop recording or 24/7 recording. It will only record manually when you have the app open or when it detects motion. Auto recording last for about 10 seconds. I used a spare phone, downloaded the app and could run the app from two phone, no issues. I attempted to record manually and it lasted for 45 minutes before the app automatically turned off (crashed?). I also tried to leave the app open, like viewing a security camera on my desk. It stayed open for about 45 minutes then stopped working. It's 1080P which is only 2MP. Your smart phone today is over 10MP. Yes, it's better than nothing but you do not get detailed crisp clear images. All in all, a fantastic security camera that I will continue to use. It's easy to get up and running. Easy to use and better than nothing.

I put the app on all the phones of those who live in our household. This includes my 2 in laws who are 63 & 70. My mother in law who is 63 is fairly tech savvy and can navigate basic functions of the app fairly easily. My 72 year old father in law is different & rarely uses his phone apps. I taught him how to use it & even he knows how to navigate the app to check up on notifications. He’s not an expert, but he can do the basics & at least see who is at the door. I got 2 cameras from this company. Because they’re from the same company, I can look at both camera feeds at the same time through the app. This is a great feature when you are trying to see what’s happening on both cameras simultaneously. The app gives you a 30 day free trial. The only difference between the standard free plan & the purchased plan is that the purchased one gives you an overview of who/what triggered the camera. It’s very easy to see how many times it was triggered in a day & very easy for my older in laws to navigate. The free plan requires you to swipe through the days timeline to see who triggered the camera. Convenience is the only difference, & we have already purchased the yearly plan ($55) as my in laws are already familiar with the navigations of the app. It’s possible to use the free version just fine, but I am lazy and just want to have a list of all the times my camera was set off. The voice control is like a walkie-talkie. If you are speaking, you will not hear the other side until you click your microphone off. It’s one way communication, so you cannot just leave your mic off. You have to turn it off so that you can hear the other side. I’ve used this function quite a bit when family members try to stop by unexpectedly (quarantining). I can hear them fine & the outside speaker is pretty loud- works great. The only issue I have with this camera is the sensitivity. It usually activates a bit late, & often times I get videos of the people when they are about to walk away and out of view. This isn’t very functional, but compared to other cameras I’ve used it’s a huge step up. I’ve been using this for a month & a half and am soon going to be charging it for the first time. My last camera had to be charged every 2-3 weeks. This one lasted 6-7 solid weeks while being set off fairly often each day. I used the magnet to set this camera up as the magnet almost feels like it’s screwed in. It takes a bit of force to pry it off, but that’s something that no one needs to know besides me. It’ll be extremely easy for me to grab a ladder & pull this off to charge it tomorrow.

For quite some time I had been looking for a type of camera that captures motion but also has a two way intercom and wasn’t just limited to one of the major doorbell-like companies. I thought I was lucky since I had one lying around but it didn’t seem to work in my computer so looks like that will be another next Amazon purchase LOL. The 2.4ghz network thing is also pretty clearly stated so make sure to connect to the right network or else your product will not work.

I recently planned to go out of country for few days and wanted to have a camera to keep an eye on my house while I am away. Once the product was received, my daughter could do the set up in just few minutes using my phone. I installed this in the front porch . Magnetic attachment is super easy to bring in for charging. I didn't want any wiring and any hard installation in the wall. So the set up was really easy. Location of the device is about 40ft from the router. I charged it to 100% though it came pre charged. Picture quality is super clear. Night vision is perfect. Very happy with the purchase. Motion activation is perfect, sends a message to my phone. I am very impressed and will probably get another one for the backdoor in the future.

In the app you can control turning the camera on and off. I did notice a small lag when viewing live footage, about a 3-5 second delay in updating current footage it might be my own Internet problem, Otherwise it works great.

This camera is amazing! The picture quality is superb! I like the portrait detection function, so I can avoid receiving false alarm information, and the intercom effect is also very good! And I like waterproof and completely wireless! Our modem is at the back of the house, and the camera is always at the front, the connection is perfect! Absolutely love my cameras! The video and picture quality is amazing! It also has face recognition and will zoom in and take a picture of the persons face. We have a camera facing the back side of the house and street area and it literally just pick up ok human movement. I don’t have to worry about a lot of unnecessary alerts when a car passes by. I’ve had them for a month and the battery life is amazing. I have a vivant door bell camera also and this camera picks up stuff thay vivant misses!

For privacy reasons, I did not place the camera in the living room, but placed the camera in the garage and under the deck to monitor the strike basement door at any time. I used a 32GB memory card, which is enough for such a camera, because it has a portrait detection function. Only when human behavior is detected, it will record and record to the memory card, which makes me very satisfied. The video quality is very good, and the night vision effect is also very good. This is an amazing camera overall. It’s very easy to use and install and the app for using it is intuitive, easy to use and very complete. Being wireless and having such a long lasting battery is what I was especially impressed with. Having a strong magnetic base makes it easy to attach to any iron door or magnetic metal surface. I was able to attach it to my iron front door in seconds without any other hardware (it comes with everything you need to attach it easily on any surface). After installation it has been working great recording anyone or anything that comes in it’s field of view. I love the notifications and clear video and being able to rewind the recording on the memory card using the app. I love this security camera. It’s really super easy to use, and is a great value for the money.

In the last 6 months I have installed 3 different security cameras on my property: a solar powered over my shop, a hardwired on my front porch, and this rechargeable camera in my garden. Of the 3, this is my favorite. Super easy to set up, I like the small size, the app is easy to use and the images are good (I shot my images above on a cloudy day). I was having problems with a Crane eating my Koi from my small pond in our garden and was tired of looking out the window every 30 seconds. This camera has several ways to mount, but the back is a big magnet and lucky for me my gazebo is made of metal. It just stuck to the side. Super strong magnet, too. Now I can set the app to ding on my phone and let me know when a predator is at my pond. I can also use the built in speaker to scare off the Crane. I am very, very pleased and now I'm considering replacing my other 2 cameras with this style.
